Don't Make Me Use The Bat
tough loss, really played well though for segments. Demarcus on the block is undefendable and needs to feature more.

How Karl continually went with guards on Dirk is beyond me. Tough loss.
high pick and roll. Which we constantly switched. Then Rudy would refuse to come back over because he didn't want to leave the guard he was on to shoot a three. Scheme on scheme.

First thing I thought was to shoot a high rainbow shot and game would be over in the air.lol Tough loss. Let it out on the lakers thursday night.
Yeah that's what I'm wondering with my question on how the clock operates. If Darren just throws it up really high and it only comes down after the gameclock has gone off is the game over despite it being a shotclock violation?

Only caught the last 20 seconds of regulation and the two OT periods.

Is there a reason Kosta had little playing time? I'm really questioning these him and Marco signings, which both happen to be long term.

This felt like one of those games that if we won it could have changed a lot for this team, this season. Confidence would have went through the roof and we could have beat up on the Lakers for some fun. Now, I feel like the team will just come out flat come Thursday. Man, this one was tough to take. It had so much potential to change things for us. We are always right there in games and in the playoff race, but we always find a way to stumble. Always.

We're just not good enough. Everytime we get close to the 8th seed, we fall back. It will be the story of our season. When Utah gets Gobert back it's game over see ya.

We continue to hold the ball running clock in those situations and we Never score. You know start the offense before 6 six seconds left. Actually try and get a clean shot just run the offense. wouldnt 2 pts be greater than 5-7 seconds in those situations. Because our shots are horrible when running clock

I know it's the popular thing to do to hate on Collison right now because he wasn't able to hit the rim, and I know there are some saying he's worthless, saying we should trade him, etc., but he had a decent game (14 pts/4 reb/12 ast/2 stl/3 to). To have a guy like Collison step in when your starting PG goes down is a luxury. Sure, that was a very, very, very unfortunate play at the end (a shot I see him not only hit the rim but make all of the time), but we probably don't even have a fighting chance against a western playoff team if we're relying on Curry as our starter.

Kings fans have to realize that when our team is healthy, we don't have to rely on Collison making plays down the stretch because we have a great floor general in Rondo. It stings, yes, but our boys gave a hell of an effort down Rondo, Casspi, & Cauley-Stein, against a respectable opponent on their home floor, and on the night of a back to back.

My backup PG gave me a double-double and a big lead in overtime. My opponent made two miracle shots at the end, and the refs screwed me when Dirk knocked my PG over with a clear-out when my PG was manning up as well as a 6 footer can against Dirk. He took a wide open 3 early in the clock that would have been the final dagger if it went in - one that he makes a very high percentage that the opps were daring him to take. I wish he had not missed that shot. And he whiffed on the final shot when he needed to hit the rim. I wish he had not done that.

But I don't agree that my backup PG sucks. I don't know many 6' guys who would have checked Dirk better than Darren did. Just can't win em all.

i think knowing it was that close without 2 key cogs might be enough. I mean curry played 35+ imagine rondo with those min in that game or casspi getting acys min.

Still, man, it's a heartbreaker. A win here means a likely four-game winning streak, going into the Warriors game. At worst, it would have been a three-game streak going into the TNT game.

Even when the coaching staff is writing up beautiful plays

This team just can't get it done

Was it talent when Dirk stiff armed Collison in the throat to knock down a wide open jumper?

We gave the game away in double OT, but let's be honest it shouldn't have even got there. Dirk was treated like ****ing royalty and just cemented everything I hate about the National Basketball League. So GD shady it's not even funny.

We aren't an unlucky team. Luck is a concept for the poor, unsuccessful and uninspired. This has happened so many times late in games. We just don't have what it takes to be a playoff team. The bright lights are too bright for us. Too many low IQ players that lose focus in the crucial moments.
