watching this game was very difficult, so many free throws for OKC because the Kings were unable to defend them and endless points in the paint. Kanter was having a field day out there, no resistance what so ever from anybody out there.
Don't care about his stats, Cousins isn't a frontline, top 7 guy who makes teams better as a centerpiece as of yet. Hopefully he can get there at some point
I am not going to advocate trading DeMarcus Cousins. Not now and not in the foreseeable future...and I'm pretty sure you knew that would be my response.
You hope to build around the star. Methinks getting said star is the hardest part of the equation... and the Kings already have that despite what people some want to think. What if the Kings trade him for all the prospects and pieces and greener pastures, and that doesn't pan out? No star, worse team, 10 wins a season. That's a worse hell than this.
Not to derail this thread too badly, but what would be the BEST CASE scenario the Kings would receive for DMC? Not nearly enough to take the gamble would be my guess.
So funny you mention this because brick said this was what Vlade did this year. I guess not. Either cousins can't figure winning out or Vlade has failed. Guess people can choose.
