thats the only way we get some national coverage is if we can get under the skin of a top team like the lakers. if evans can somehow break kobe's ankles and we win the regular season series against the lakers this season they will show kings-lakers games on natl tv next season(2010-11). that or we pull a golden state and upset the lakers in the 1st round. that would be awesome......

go kings..... where delusions of grandeur happens...

Then how do you explain the Knicks being on national tv? They don't win and have nobody.

1. Its New York ...a huge market
2. All the teams New York will be facing have a marquee player that will be in the free agency next year. They put hte marquee players against New York in case they get on New York next year as New York has a pot full of money next year

Lebron, D.Howard, Kobe, Wade, Chris Paul Would Seem To Disagree With You
I can't find any indication that broadcasts increased for Miami when Wade was a rookie, or for LA when Kobe was a rookie, or for NO when Chris Paul was a rookie. Everything I can find makes it seem like they stayed pretty flat. Do you have some URLs to back this assertion?

Highly hyped #1 picks often do make a difference, but that hasn't applied to us in decades.
