I don't want to call it a fear but I like Ben and can easily see him getting his act together on a decent team. I hate the idea of giving up on any of our young SG's to make room for Bogdan.
Probably not the best thread for this discussion, but I too think he can be useful on a good team, where he has a good structure. Spurs have a history of taking such cast offs and turning them into useful players. As of now, they really need help at 2. Green is having an awful year, Manu is 39, and might retire. I wouldn't be surprised if they pick Ben, or someone like him. Young, athletic, hard working, has spent a few years in the league, but not carved a niche. They can probably get him for a very reasonable price, and he might be able to help them. Do wish him the best though.
And it's not even about Bogdan. When we traded DMC, we clearly identified Hield as our SG of the future. Plus, we have Temple and Malachi. There is just no room for Ben or Afflalo, or even Reke (though, theoretically, he can play 1, 2, or 3). The best we can hope for is that we get something in return for them.
