Don't know if anyone here will know what I'm talking about, but if you've never heard of her, you'll probably be better off to have heard of her! Leona Lewis.

X-Factor, for those of you that don't know, is basically the same as American Idol but an British one with contestants from all the countries from Britain, and Ireland.
Last year, the winner was Leona Lewis. She has an absolutely amazing voice and Simon Cowell has said that he don't think there's ever been a singer with a better natural voice.....ever!
I thought this might make an interesting topic as many debate whether she's as good as Mariah and all the other top American talent. In my opinion, she is even better than all the great artists out now.

Where do I begin? dime dropper, I cannot thank you enough for turning me on to this amazing talent. I listened to every song I could find, and I enjoyed each and everyone one, just immensely.

I'd been meaning to make this thread for a while as it's over since Christmas but only got round to it now.

She's an incredible girl. She has a huge vocal range and I really do hope she makes it big 'cause she has the talent and she definetly deserves it. She seems like a very down to earth, hard working girl.

Her songs are just unbelievable, she sings with such emotion and heart.
It's a pity you all couldn't see the show over in America, I generally don't watch those type of shows but I watched it last year - all because of her. I'll be watching for a long time, but I don't think we'll ever see someone like her over here in a long, long time.

I believe Leona is/was on top of the American charts recently? Anyone got any new opinions on her?

She sang on American Idol last week (the elimination show). She's very, very good. I'd seen some video on YouTube of her competition singing.
