Claxton has been playing very well all season. His athleticism is freakish and gets off the floor extremely quickly. Opponents shoot 12% worse within 6 ft of the rim when Claxton is there, which is the 6th best in the league.

Sabonis is just simply too strong for him.
I know he's a solid player but like I said, the Nets were hammering the ball down low to him in iso and it was not good haha. So far they've seemed to have gone away and used him more in the middle. Also, Claxton shot the ball 7 times in that first half with equals his typical output per game for him this year usually.
 
If Simmons ever gets his head screwed on straight this roster could make the game fun for him again. There's not a lot of players that can get their own on the Nets, but if he can draw and kick the potential is there for Simmons to lead the league in assists.

It brings me so much joy that the nothing throw in part of the Bagels trade is infinitely more important to this team than Bagel ever was.
