The win over the Rockets was actually quite encouraging in that the Kings made several series of bad plays in the 3rd and 4th quarters but still kept their composure and hit the key shots to maintain a comfortable margin as Houston tried to rally back. They looked like a winning team having a bad game rather than a losing team having a good one.

And the Mavs and Grizz are 2 and 1 game above .500 in the 5 and 6 slots atm. Crazy the West is still this wide-open 2 months into the season, but there are essentially 4 playoff spots in play the rest of the way.

I'm still trying to figure out how the Pelicans are almost dead last in the West with that same roster from last year...injuries to Tyreke, Gordon & Davis obviously didn't help them but even with them back they've been losing more often than not. The West race for the playoffs will be a fun one no doubt....for once we don't need to see 45+ wins to get in, so it seems up to this point.

the 4 day rest and now the 2 day rest with game sandwhiched in was exactly what the Dr. ordered for Cousins to get heeled up. rondo with a nice rest as well with the sandwhich game being a suspension
