Anybody know what the "mysterious illness" is that's preventing Kara Lawson from practicing and playing for the past 2 weeks?

Coach Whiz just said on KHTK that it's some sort of liver ailment.

Lawson's Illness Explained

Today's pregame show, Whiz explained that Kara is suffering from a liver ailment like mono--an offshoot of hepatitis; and they have no idea how long it's going to take her to recover. They do not expect her to play in the season opener, or "for some time". Ouch! Get well quick Kara!

Yeah! We are going to need Kara. Looks like we'll definitely need to keep a guard or 2 more than we planned. So, we have 2 players starting on the injured list.

I wonder if Kara picked something up while she was travelling with the U.S. team.

I was actually wondering in ESPN and the NCAA would be willing to offer her some type of workmans comp.

Lord knows they worked her to the bone of this year!
