Article recently came out about Jeff Green being tired of losing. The Celts have him under contract for another year after this, so they could just tell him to wait and see if they hit big in Free Agency. (I don't think they will be able to pull it off.)
So he's long been rumored in trades. DWill for him works straight up, but puts the Kings 1 mill away from the luxury tax. Of course, why the Celts would give him up for just DWill is a big question. Maybe just to give them more cap space? They do risk losing Rondo as well.
So... I really have no idea what the Celts plan to do, but does Green fit in on the Kings as a stretch 4? Malone is using DWill as the guy to guard other stretch 4s. Green can do taht and provide offense. He tends to be a bit erratic in production, but can go off for 30 at times. Because of his skills and athleticism, he works well in the the all 6'8 lineups they've been running lately with Casspi and Gay.
So *sips coffee* discuss.
