Help!!

I have an odd problem that just started happening. Prior to a few days ago I had no problems with my computer.

I have a pc. It will not play sound on Youtube. It will play sound on CDs and DVDs, it will play all the aggravating sound effects of Windows 7, 64 bit. It will play game sounds. It will play Spotify. It will play mp3s. In other words, it will play all sounds except Youtube.

Does anyone have a clue as to what is going wrong? Even a hint might send me in the right direction. I thought it might have to do with DirectX or whatever it is called but that was a guess out of desperation. The fact that everything was working until a few days ago makes it all the more a mystery.

Make sure your flash player is up to date. Also check updates for your web browser that you are using.

Check the volume level on the youtube screen thingy. I accidentally turned mine all the way down once...

Funny, Youtube did the same thing to me the other day as well - and I know I hadn't silenced it.
