Former Kings in the NBA Playoffs

#1
Perhaps by coincidence, the 2015 playoffs are littered with former Sacramento players on all sides. Here is a cumulative list of former Kings in the dance.

Key players:

Tyreke Evans, PG/SF, New Orleans Pelicans
Isaiah Thomas, PG, Boston Celtics

How ironic, that with a team built around the two above players and DeMarcus Cousins, the Kings couldn't reach the 30 win mark. And yet, once they're both traded away for spare parts such as Greivis Vasquez and trade exceptions, they're both featured players on playoff squads. Evans enjoyed a career year running the point and dishing the ball with Jrue Holiday out for long stretches, and proved that he is, in fact, a PG. Thomas was acquired by the Celts in a midseason trade, and since coming to Beantown has led his team in scoring, become a fan favorite, and is perhaps the leading candidate for Sixth Man of the Year.

Roleplaying starters:

Matt Barnes, SF, LA Clippers
Patrick Patterson, PF, Toronto Raptors

While these two both had lackluster tenures in Sac, they've managed to carve out their respective niches in the NBA along brighter stars such as Chris Paul and Kyle Lowry.

So it strikes me that 8 of our former point guards are in the play offs. (Sessions, Vasquez, Thomas, Evans, Ferdette, Brooks, Douglas, Udrich) In fact you have to go back to 2010 to find a former point guard who is NOT in the play offs (Head ,Jeter) Maybe the BIG problem has NOT been at the PG after all.

Safe to say Tyreke did not save his best for last

To be fair you can't include Sessions/Jimmer or Douglas cause they are not really playing (or in Sessions case he's been terrible) and the rest have not really played to there potential in the playoffs and have for the most part been sub par aside from Beno this year.

Majority of those cases they just got lucky and went to either a stacked team or to the East which is basically all of them except Reke.
