I found it interesting that when Rome asked Vlade if he would ever consider trading Cousins, he said that when the Lakers traded him, he thought it was one of the worse trades in Laker history. But, he said, when you look back on it and see they got Kobe Bryant out of that deal, it turned out to be very smart trade. So the answer is, if you think you can help the team with a trade, then you have to consider it.
I believe this is the first time Vlade had said he would consider trading Cousins. He went on to say, that sometimes it's the best thing for both party's. He said he hated leaving the Lakers, but it led to his eventual signing with the Kings, and the best years of his career. So it turned out to be a good deal for both the Lakers, and himself.
