[Game] Trailblazers @ Kings - 12/23/12

I have faith in T-Rob. There is no reason why he can't develop in to a Kenneth Faried type player. Speaking of Kenneth Faried.... He's putting up 12 and 10 in 28 mpg in his second season and has surpassed the development of Jason Thompson who is in his 5th season and was picked 12th. Faried was picked 22n'd in his draft. Sometimes it really is luck of the draw.

Nothing against JT because i love him, but its just sucks to think about how good we could have been with the right picks.

Good half...great way to respond to all the Cousins garbage.
I totally agree. Trying to split viewing time between this game and the fiasco in Seattle didn't work out, so I'm rewarding the effort and watching the Kings. What I'm seeing is a team that is doing their best under some very bizarre circumstances.

Wasn't it mentioned that Evans might be suffering from patellar tendonitis? I don't think his injury is just because he had a bruise.

His brother said that's what he had. The Kings last statement was a bruise. Depends on who you trust. :) Patellar tendonitis is what Hassan had.

Anybody can pick a good team two years after the draft. :p
Or five... I mean, knowing then what we know now, who wouldn't take Hibbert or Ibaka over Thompson? But, I don't think that the draft works like that...

Man, what if it did, though? In fact, now that I think about it, so that any team that misses the playoffs five years in a row, should get to have a draft do-over! Take the Kings, for example: our first year of missing the playoffs, during this most recent decline was 2006-07. So, we should be allowed to re-do the '07 draft. Imagine if we were allowed to retroactively take Marc Gasol instead of Spencer Hawes?

Or just trade any play of our choosing for Marc Gasol.... because we rightfully deserve him. haha.

If JJ would simply shoot jump shots or set shots and put out most of his effort on defense, he'd make up for all the bad things we've said about him. Where he goes off the rails is when he tries to get fancy. I think I could actually like him. As to TRob, I'll tell you what I think after his second year. Right now he seems lost.

4 Blazers will finish the game with over 30 minutes. Now, they are losing so I don't know what to make of it but at the least it shows a difference in coaching philosophy. It's a philosophy I like.

His jumper looks so much better than it did. He's been a really solid spot-up jump shooter the last 2 weeks. As you said, JJ needs to cut out the wild stuff and he'll be an incredibly valuable player.

Agreed with Trob. He just needs minutes and time to work through his rookie struggles.

I just tuned in at the 4th. Are we playing really well right now or is Portland throwing this? No Cuz/Reke?
This might be our most well-played offensive game all year. Everyone is sharing the ball, there's off-ball movement, there's very little 1on1 iso crap, and everyone is giving 100% hustle and effort.
