Glorified pickup game - really a joke if you ask me. Obviously, the guys have only been together a few days and it really shows - BAD! No plays, no nothing, tons of turnovers, Coach K apparently content to just let them go up and down for the slightly bored fans. If they play like this in the Worlds they lose to a team like Spain, Argentina, Greece. Team USA is so disorganized and young at this point I would not think they'd be favored for the Gold Metal or it would be a toss-up. Coach K and his staff have some work to do with this latest group of NBA all-stars.

From what i understand, the most prominent players from the redeem team will still be playing in the 2012 olympics. Unless something has changed. I just dont recall ever hearing that this is going to be a completely different team.

A sore ankle kept Evans sidelined for practices Thursday and Friday, which was when the coaching staff focused hardest on what went down in the scrimmages. That absence has made Evans the No. 1 cut candidate, and it'll take what amounts to an epic comeback for him to stick.

Sucks for him, good for us (selfish, I know). He can try again after he comes home peeved off, ready to work on his jumper and destroy the league.
