Even 4 days which is a lifetime in the NBA aren't able to wash away the bitter taste Kings left on Monday showing performance for he ages battling hard to keep the loss below 50 points. Hard effort paid of and Kings once again succeeded. We only lost by 48.
With 11-39 Kings are the 3rd worst team in the NBA only half game behind Clippers and Wizards. Kings are .500 in February but that will change tonight either way. Then Kings go on the road to "improve" their 3-23 road record.

Still semi-upset about beating Thunder that got us away from the spot we truly deserve. Tonight we need to win the game, we have to win the game but we probably won't because we can't get anything right.

We have learned a lot about our team in the 50 games of this season. We know - they suck, most of them don't deserve to wear Kings uniform, they are overpaid, they have no heart, no self esteem, no pride no respect for their fans. On such a special occasion - other than Bobby - none of them deserves to be on the same floor as Chris Webber who may as well put that uniform again because even overweight with one leg he would be by far the best player on the team. Our record would be game or 2 better. We would have same defense, better offense and brad wouldn't be depressed about being a Slowsky of the team. We could offer Chris a MLE. Better him than a "Mikki Moore" to be named at the later date.

I still don't like the idea that the ceremony of such magnitude takes place this season or the next. The organization should wait till we are actually good enough to have decent chance of winning a game. This year - there isn't a game that we can say - we will win this one. This night that is supposed to be special - has a potential to be a catastrophe. We can play this game in front of the light crowd and lose by 30. That is our way to say Thank You Chris Webber.

Our team deserves a humiliation of different kind. It would be awesome if the crowd would just show up for the ceremony and then leave immediately making the Kings play in front of the empty stands. It would be a great message even though I don't believe that the players have mental capacity of understanding the meaning of it because that would require things that those guys lack - pride, heart, passion for the game. Something that You can't buy or learn. You either have it or like in our case - You don't.

What can You say about Chris Webber that hasn't been said or argued already. The superstar behind the glory years. Player whose talent actually came close to his ego. He was everything we needed right until that night in Dallas where everything ended one way or the other because thing were never the same in so many ways. Any comparison with today would be very insulting and I won't even attempt to do it. Just a simple - "thank you."

Back to reality where 2 weeks before the trade deadline - nothing is happening yet - that we know off. If I was a GM - I wouldn't trade for any veteran from a team that id 28 games below .500 losing games by 50 pts. No one wants losers and that is all those vets are. Natural born losers - and we have all of them. Why would anyone want an overpaid player who isn't capable of playing hard and competing every night ? Who wants a player who has nothing to show in his CV except losing and some more losing ? We can not possibly make a trade that would truly benefit us. We will just have to wait this one out.

The game against the Suns was over way before it started. It is a shame - we even made the trip. We almost won the last quarter. Still can't decide which quarter was more pathetic - the first or the third. I also can't decide what is worse - having 26 turnover on 13 assists ot having 24 defensive rebounds vs Suns 21 offensive rebound ? At this point - I am all for the mercy rule - a team that is down by 20 in the 1st quarter should be forfeited.

Mikki - Beno earned this one fair and square. special mention - Mikki Moore and his legendary no stats game in 12 minutes.

Jazz will try to spoil the ceremony as payback for all abuse they had to take from Webber. They shouldn't have a difficult job based on everything those teams are and aren't. For Kings that is a must win ergo - we are screwed type of game. Now, I don't believe that we will lose by 50 again but I do expect a lin. Jazz will play shorthanded and we might actually be stronger if Brad sits out again and have a party with Michael Phelps. maybe he can learn some new techniques there. Again this is supposed to be a great night but someone will spoil it - the Jazz or the Kings.

All our players, coaches and management deserves to be send to a gulag in Siberia for indefinite period of time. And I am being generous here.

Jazz 28-22 and 8-16 on the road are in need for every win despite being shorthanded trying to avoid being the one team that won't make it in the West. This would be a horrible loss for them and a good woss for us. Without Boozer and Kirilenko - Jazz are still good enough to kick our asses. i am going go pick Price for TDM just because House effect. LW-VC will go to Harpering. Kings really, really need to win this one - but they won't because we can't get anything right.
