Katie just said "You don't ever want to embarrass a team, but..."

My question is why not? Why in the world would you not want to absolutely humiliate your opponent within the rules of the game? These are grown men playing for keeps.

To me, it would be offensive to the spirit of the game to not go full on and run up the score, while getting your bench some work of course.

I've never understood "going easy" on a team when you have a huge lead. It simply does not compute. These are professionals.

I've seen no compelling evidence that Kuzma and Poole's offensive productivity is conducive to winning basketball. And, as questionable as their reputations are, I'm trying to imagine what they would be like if LeBron and Steph, respectively, hadn't carried them to championships?
