he didn’t shoot well but I thought he did little things that helped. He isn’t playing well but if you aren’t going to shoot well at least rebound, defend and set up others and he did that. KVon is starting to come out of his slump, hopefully Keegan is next.
I’m hopeful Huerter has broken out of his slump. Is it just me or does it seem like he still has this hitch right before he releases the ball? He had it last year after starting out hot then when into that prolonged slump, but then got out of it after the all star break.

Huerter hasn't broken out of crap. His shooting is at an all time low which is VERY concerning. Something happened in preseason practices that has him shook

Well, it’s a win. Not a necessarily a performance that instills confidence in further games without Fox but it was much needed nevertheless.

Domas had his most Domas from last season game as far as setting the tone early and having the near triple double. Nice bounce back from that Houston debacle.

Monk was excellent. Massive offensive game with no three ball but he’s most dangerous when he’s attacking the hoop and getting to the line. Also, great pick n roll work with Len and Domas.

Davion had his best game of the season. If Keon had put in an offensive game to speak of along with his defensive performance and Davion put in business as usual..it was possible his job was on the line but he performed

Len was excellent. He looks to be leaner than last season. Less stiff.

Huerter had a strong game. Some WTF moments but 17 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals. 4-9 from three. It doesn’t feel like enough considering how poorly the team is shooting overall but he shot the ball well tonight and seems to be getting back in the groove.

Keon played well defensively. 3 steals. Being a problem. I had hoped he showed out a little more offensively. I’d like to see him get another look as starter if Fox misses the next game. Especially since size wise he’s probably better for matchups anyway and Davion responded anyway.

Kessler Edwards was strong defensively.

Duarte was meh and has been meh since the Utah game.

HB was torched all night, didn’t rebound well, but had a couple timely buckets to make his night not seem like a total bust.

Keegan 4-17..that’s not good. It’s a setback for him to not be in the game at crunch time and overtime. I thought he played well defensively and rebounded well but we need him to score.

Sasha and Javale in the doghouse tonight. Could be matchups too. Sasha hasn’t exactly been the defensive sieve many expected…atleast not yet. But I can see why he didn’t get any burn tonight with Grant running wild. Maybe Javale just needed some rest. I can see him and Len alternating.

Surprised we didn’t see Colby tonight

Anyway, Kings will need to play significantly better against OKC.

I told yall he's hidden Zach Lavine/Brad Beal.

23-10-6. 19 FTA. in only 30 minutes of an OT game. Brown needs to capitulate and just start the dude. Enough is enough, I need 30+ every single game
Coach Brown is a stubborn, old-school coach. Start a designated shooting guard at point? Never, says he.

WHEW!! I’ll just say it was nice to see our energy level and playing like we wanted it. Monk started out kind of shaky but man did he light it up and started making his free throws and got us into OT and the win. Glad Huerter started making his 3 pt shots, good seeing Alex out there for a minute and grabbing 10 points, I really enjoyed watching Keon and Kessler out there just to watch their defense and even Mitchell stepped up. Domas took a beating as usual and still punched in 27 . BIG difference from our last two games . FEEL THE ROAR AND LIGHT THE BEAM GO KINGS

Hueter is def not out a slump and Davion made some bone head travels fouls and turn overs.

Butttt Hueter did not hesitate on his shots he took them with confidence and that’s. Big and he did some little things as well

And Davion showed some offense and make a key defensive play “after a turn over” but still.

Both players can do better especially Hueter. If Davion plays like this every game and not worse it will be acceptable

Kingster

Hall of Famer
I'm sure glad the Kings won tonight. They played so hard this one would have been brutal to lose.

Some of the turnovers were insanely bad by the Kings, but I'll pay that price for very aggressive play. Loved Brown's lineup change and the way he used his players tonight. He knew he had to change things up from the Houston debacle and it paid dividends.

He's fine. Don't worry. His scoring last season and his 40 pt average in the summer league is no fluke. His defense has been special. He's going to be a very good two way player.
I totally get why people are annoyed or worried. I think we could live with the cold three point shooting if he could just get to the basket or shoot from the mid range with confidence. He has to be more decisive and aggressive, it’s his biggest hurdle as a player.

Having said that, I agree that he will turn it around, the sooner the better

We don't win that game without Davion btw.

He saved us in OT.

Same with monk obv
Yup!!! Gotta give props when due. And a HUGE shout out to our amazing Coach Brown, Triano and the rest of the staff. Snatching the starting spot from Davion likely woke him up, as planned. They know what they're doing and the fact that our players don't pout or throw tantrums about it, really says a lot. I'm encouraged tonight, more than anything.

Really? Like who? Outside of the Wizards game right around Christmas, what game did we lose to a bottom dweller?
I am remembering home losses to the Wizards, Hornets, Hawks, Spurs, Blazers, Raptors, and Wolves. That is just off the top of my head. Did any of those teams make the playoffs? Maybe the Hawks and Wolves. But you should be expecting to win all of those games at home.

I also remember incredibly close games (like tonight) against bad teams like the Bulls and Pistons as well.

Keegan 4-17
Monk 4-16 (Although 15-19 FTA GOD DAMN)
Huerter 5-13

I don't think it's really about our "non-Fox" talent. The way this team is built, is it's Fox is your go-to scorer (although Monk???) with Domas the offensive engine and elite shooting around them. The elite shooting is nowhere to be found this season thus far and obviously no Fox so we look like a chicken with our head cut off. Doesn't help HB has seemingly loss quite a bit of athleticism too, especially laterally.
Barnes is a strange one, always has been. He'll look like Lebron in about 3 weeks before finding some sort of happy medium lol
