Another tip of the hat - to the officials. They kept it real and let the game play out. Amazing how that works.

Obvious praise to Boogie and Rudy, but a tip of the hat to Omri Casspi. He was our Manu Ginobli tonight.
I think this is going to be the key to us winning games and I think we actually can pull it off this year. Get the normal production from Rudy and Cuz and then have one of the role guys step up in a big way to be the 3rd bullet. Tonight, it was Casspi's turn.

I've been so impressed with the role guys this season, especially on the defensive end. It's just not something we're used to seeing and the reason we're 2-1

Hall of Famer
I'm going to enjoy this but my mind is wondering what if.....

What if we got steady solid offensive production out of the 2 young SGs? I like those 2 guys but, what if.....

Quiet as it's kept, McLemore played strong defense for his third straight game... Or, at least, he was, until Malone inexplicably decided to switch him onto Chris Paul.
He got burned once, forced a switch the other time. Collison couldn't handle Paul in the post so something needed to happen. Probably should have gone with a longer defender or a double-team though to break up that Paul/Griffin two man game on the sideline. Which is what we did out of a timeout and it wasn't a problem the rest of the game. Ben is having a rough start to the year, but he doesn't look lost. I think the shots will start dropping for him at some point. Stauskas was pretty solid on D today too. Crawford always torches us, so we got a little lucky there, but I'll take the win regardless thank you very much. :)

Really a very good game for the Kings, in the last quarter the Kings were tough as nails, they showed a lot of heart, playing with enthusiasm..
I was able to watch the game and enjoyed every minute of the 2nd half, Cousins and Gay are really unstoppable, I really enjoyed watching Cousins working inside and not giving up on any rebound, he was also able to restrain himself and not letting his temper influence his game.
Gay was really good as well scoring some very important shots for the Kings even though I somewhat didn't like some of his decisions, I reckon that overall he was doing a very good job.

Earlier in the game, before the 2nd half was over, I was wondering when coach Malone is going to try a lineup which includes Cousins, Collison, Gay and Casspi, fortunately he did, and the results were really good, because this lineup got the Kings back in the game and eventually won it.

I really believe Casspi is playing really good with Cousins and was also doing a very good job on guarding Redick, I believe he could score more points but he decided to make wiser moves and getting his teammates involved, he was also doing a good job on the glass and his passings were on point.

But the hero of the game in the final minutes was Collison he buried a jumper which in my opinion at least gave the Kings the Win, he was also cold-blooded from the line, really an important asset for the Kings.

Fouls took him out of the game. That was the big problem today, but he has been missing wide open jumpers. I'd keep Ben in the starting lineup for now with Stauskas also struggling offensively, but if Casspi can hold his own defensively at SG, his minutes allotment should go up. He's been huge off the bench in the last two wins.

No question that Cousins was the shining star here and Gay & Collison made a great contribution. The roses, however, go to Casspi who played such a excellent balanced game and truly lit the fire in the others. Casspi has to be on the court just to show the others that you have to share the ball.

I'm in the BayArea and LP streaming on my phone was blocked for the Kings games! I understand it for the Warriors. Wt.. So much for League pass trial , now I know I'm not getting it.

Really wanted to watch the game i thought I can stream it on my phone while at my daughter's recital.

Anyway, very happy beat the LA Clips!

Casspi was great today but let's not get ahead of ourselves about him playing SG all the time. Reddick is probably one of the slower, more perimeter oriented 2's in the league. That wouldn't have worked against a lot of SGs. Kudos to Malone for recognizing it and for Casspi for taking advantage of the opportunity.

casspi has been great setting up the Ball to Big Cuz and even Big cuz returned the favor as he set up Casspi for a bucket shortly thereafter !!!
