...
Monday 18th: 6 pm vs whoever meets Kings in the finals :)

Will be in town, might drop by.

Who else is going?
I will be there with Uncia03 for all the games. I know Cruzdude will be there for at least three of the Kings games. I think, and hope that the Capt will be there for a few games as well. I'm the old guy sitting next to the guy with the Hoodie and the good lookiing redhead, which is Uncia03''s wife. She's smarter than all of us. Your welcome to join us. Bring beer!

I'll be buying the League pass Summer package again this year. This year's team should be interesting to watch with all those draft picks. It'll also be our first glimpse of the big George.

We added jarrod uttoff to the team. He's an intriguing senior that I was hoping we'd take a look at
Good read on him. Tall 3 and D SF that can is above average shot blocker. Vast difference in the type of people Valde is going after vs the last 10-12 years. This kid was projected for a while in the second round to the Warriors.

I hadn't been to Vegas since 2005, but have already been twice this year and will be going again in July on my way back from a work project in Phoenix. Unfortunately, the earliest I'll be there is July 27th -- about 2 weeks too late. Timing is everything, they say. Oh well.

Should be a lot of fun this year with all the rookies.

Started thinking of matchups in these games.

Sac v Toronto.....Papa and Skal and Gudaitis v. Poeltl and Noguera. Good matchups

Sac v NO.......Richardson guarding Hield. Lets see If we got a 3 and D guy.

Is that the only way to watch the summer league?
Most of the games will be televised as well: http://www.nba.com/2016/news/06/21/summer-league-schedule-official-release/index.html

Of the 67 games, it appears that 25 will be broadcast by ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU, and another 30 by NBATV. The remainder of the games would appear to be available on WatchESPN online.

Obviously you would need to have a TV package with ESPN and/or NBATV. You could also go and see the games in person!

There will be no need for the summer league pass it seems. All games will be streamed/archived on WatchESPN. Plus most of them will be televised live on various ESPN channels or NBATV. Previously NBATV showed a good majority of the games live but you needed the leaguepass to access the archive streams.

I think there was a report about Chris Jones Jr making the SL team
Who is that? Never heard his name :D

Other Small Forwards we worked out that don't have an invite yet that I am interested in:

Brannen Greene. 6'7''. Excellent shooter.

Elgin Cook. 6'6''. Versatile defender, can handle a bit.

Derrick Jones. 6'7. Big time athlete.

Derrick Jones has some Gerald Wallace in him: excellent all-around athleticism, defensive stats and not much offense beyond running and dunking, though he did try something off the dribble, but that was mainly the source for TOs. Another positive sign was that for mostly a finisher Jones Jr. was a magnet for fouls at more than 8 per 40 minutes just like Wallace, but Jones seems to know his limitations very well as he had .611TS% to Wallace's .485TS%, though GW was forced into a larger role than he should have had in Alabama.
Would probably be the best available UDFA signing, now that Robert Carter went to GSW, Finney-Smith chose Mavericks and GP II clearly had a pre-draft under the table deal with Rockets.
Of course, he's pretty far away from rotation due to non-existing shooting, but signing him to a 3-year deal with second and third non-guaranteed would be an excellent investment.

nothing official yet except for a reported Jarrod Uthoff deal.

PG: I. Cousins / ?
SG: Malachi Richardson / ?
SF: ??
PF: Skal / Uthoff / Dukan?
C: Willie / Papagiannis / J. Cousins
Uthoff would play the 3. Don't think he'll make the final roster, needs to add a lot of muscle.

He's actually more of a pf than he is a sf. One of my dark horse favorites.
