It is obviously a fantastic subject to make the focus of a sports documentary. But I can't help but think that Chris Granger, former NBA Executive Vice President of Team Marketing and Business Operations, who was sent by Stern to essentially take over business operations after the Maloofs were quarantined because of their sabotage efforts, and has made Sac his personal project, had some very direct influence in making this happen.

I can't help of thinking of the based on real life movie The Fighter, where Micky Ward's drug addled older brother had an ESPN crew following him around, and he thought it was to make a documentary about his comeback in the ring, when in reality they were shooting a documentary about the devastating effects of crack.

ESPN hasn't been any friend of ours for years. Have to trust Granger knows what the final product looks like.
