What have I been up to? Well, I brewed a beer. Like, a professional one, at Factotum Brewhouse (http://factotumbrewhouse.com). It's a mosaic IPA, and a pretty thirst quenching one at that, so if you are in the Denver area, which, I think like two of you are, stop on by this Thursday for the release party. There will be sliders. I know! Cool, right? If not, well, make a trip out, because Denver is cool. Here's what it looks like:

Yep. All grain, basic 2 row + other grains. Mosaic added at FWH and throughout boil, then dry hopped with zythos 7/5/3 days before kegging.

Your system looks sweet: DIY or ordered?

Ha! That ain't mine its my buddy's. I use a Coleman cooler for my mashtun. Denny Conn style, batch sparge. He had his sculpture made by morebeer in Concord. Like 5 grand. Recirculating fly sparge. We brew collabs occasionally, enter a couple brews in the state fair comp. I have gotten a couple honorable mentions and 3rd places for my random ipas but he consistently wins for his bohemian pilsner. Hands down the best pils I have ever tasted. All saaz hops.

Nice! My mash tun is a cooler as well. They're pretty solid; I don't lose more than 2 degrees over 60 minutes.
I brewed a Mexican style old ale with Saaz, love the spice notes that it gives.
