What does the Kings organization need to accomplish to make Sacramento a much more attractive free agent destination?
I'll give it a shot. They need to give a picture of stability. We clearly have been the most unstable team in the NBA whether it be owners, cities they
might play in, coaches, front office, etc. I personally think we need to make the playoffs. This will not create a magnetic effect so that free agents are magically draw to Sacramento and it may take several years of playoffs to get people's attention. I am quite sure that if we continue to be non-competitors, we'll get nowhere. I will hope and pray we can find another great player. I was bummed out when Ryan Anderson wouldn't come here. It's not so much that he would be an All Star but when small town boy turns his nose up, it's an awful sign.
Strangely enough, the most stable "item" in this collection of items is Boogie. He has been our biggest sign of stability and I know that may start an argument. What else is a sign of stability? Nothing.
Then we need to do more than stumble into the playoffs but we need to be satisfied with baby steps.
