Pre-season Tix to go on sale

The Sacramento Kings today announced that a limited number of tickets for the team’s three pre-season games at ARCO Arena will go on sale Saturday, September 18, at 10 a.m. Kings fans have the convenience of purchasing tickets through Ticketmaster or by visiting the ARCO Arena Box Office. Information regarding regular season single game tickets will be released at a later time.

The fastest and most convenient way to purchase tickets for the Kings three pre-season home games is by visiting the Ticketmaster website at www.ticketmaster.com. New this year, fans utilizing the Ticketmaster.com system are now able to print their tickets at home!

Fans can also purchase tickets by calling Ticketmaster Charge-By-Phone at (916) 649-TIXS, (530) 528-TIXS and (209) 551-TIXS. Tickets are also available at the ARCO Arena Box Office, which is open Monday thru Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Kings eight-game exhibition slate is highlighted by three home games at ARCO Arena this year, beginning with the Sunday, October 10, game against the Golden State Warriors (6 p.m. PST).

This year’s pre-season will also include the historic 2004 NBA China Games, which marks the first time any U.S. major league sports team has played in mainland China. The Kings will face Yao Ming and the Houston Rockets on Thursday, October 14, at Shanghai Stadium in Shanghai, China. This game is a Rockets home game and will be televised on ESPN at 4:30 a.m. PST. The Kings second match up in the NBA China Games will be a “home game,” taking place on Saturday, October 16, at the Capital Indoor Stadium in Beijing, China, at 9:00 p.m. PST.*

Sacramento will also play host to the New Orleans Hornets on Saturday, October 23, (7 p.m. PST), which also marks the fifth annual George J. Maloof Sr. Community Cup game. The Kings will finish their pre-season slate on Friday, October 29, versus the Phoenix Suns in an ESPN feature at 7:30 p.m. PST.

* Please Note: Due to the 15-hour time difference, the game against the Rockets in Beijing actually takes place on Sunday, October 17, at 12:00 p.m. locally in China.
