post home open downer

We lost to a contender with our 2 best players struggling this thread is uncalled for.
The Warriors played their worst game if the season though, they practically wanted us to win "here give your fans something to look forward to for the year". Even amongst a decade of futility we had still won 8 straight home openers. You have to be a pretty awful team to lose your home opener by 18 points against a team that laid an egg for you.

Every team in the league has played their worst game of the season.
We should've taken advantage of their struggles. Curry and Thompson shot for a combined 11-31 for 44pts and 9tos. How often does this ever happen again? (Keep in mind 2 or 3 of those shots came in garbage time). If we can't beat the Warriors at their worst, then who can we really even beat?

First of All™, we haven't seen the Warriors at their worst, until we see them without Curry and Thompson. Secondly, the Warriors, playing like they did tonight, are still good enough to beat, probably, ten other teams in the league. You're acting like we just lost by eighteen to the Jazz.

Curry-Thompson shot right under 35%.. Their backup PG was Iggy who had 2asts. Speights...again Speights was their 3rd leading scorer with 16pts on 8-13 shooting. Bogut played only 18minutes...Cuz struggled against their garbage bigs. Gay struggled against freaking Harrison Barnes... In 29minutes, Iggy, their 3rd best player, IGGY had 2 total pts. They played without David Lee. Their team had a combined total of 22TOs.

AND we still lost by 15+pts.

This is not a refutation. We saw the Warriors play bad. We still haven't seen them at their worst.

Defense was pretty good for two and a half quarters. Collison was steady and checked Curry nicely. Cousins was rolling even though his shot was not falling. Then he took himself out of the game by fouling Ezeli for fun and then two dumb reach ins. BOOM, 4 fouls bench time. Then Malone inserts the Keystone Kops into the game and MEH..........game over.

The worst part of this awful game for me was all of the obnoxious Giants fans not even paying attention to the game and cheering for the Giants in the middle of free throws. I'm sure the players loved that
