League is dunking on the Kings easily?

I didn't notice that so badly using the simple eye-test in our games...
But it seems that we negatively stand out on D, allowing our opponents the highest FG% in the league BY FAR around our basket (shots taken from less than 5ft):

See in the Opponent-Shooting Team Stats, HERE.

Weird. I'd think that our big trio would keep us at least in a respectable middle-of-the-pack ranking on such a stat...

Perhaps it's the DMC-less long stretch, or the emphasis on small-ball, or some pace-induced opponents' FBs...

Anyway - thought it was worth mentioning.

well, when you look at field goals attempted against from less than 5ft, the Kings are second in the league, which means that we don't allow the other teams to even get to the rim or they are hesistant to shoot there because they know our interior defense is pretty good.
In other words and when you look at the high % it seems like our opponents only shoot from less than 5ft when they have a clean look and this seems to happen very rarely.

I think this may have to do with the only obvious weak point left in Boogie's game - arguing over calls instead of getting back on D. If he fixes this issue, he'll be an almost perfect player.

watch the segments of the game in whice our PF is a SF and watch how the opponets scoring quickly goes to the inside. also the Cousins less games in which there was a lot of that

Bingo! Anyone that watched the Orlando game should have noticed that the majority of the shots taken by the Magic came from the perimeter. Most of them open. Thank god they were missing most of them. Even their announcers talked about how hard it was to score at the basket with Cousins, Willie, and Koufos clogging up the lane. The majority of points in the paint against the Kings came via the pick and roll with Gay at the PF positon, and on a couple of occasions, Casspi at the PF position in a switch. They would break down our defense on the perimeter, causing Cousins, or Koufos to leave his man and stop the ball. At that point, Gay, or Casspi or whomever was caught in the original switch failed to pick up Cousins man and wa la, a dunk followed.

With Cuz, Willie, and Koufos on the floor, our interior defense is just fine. Better than fine. But our perimeter defense keeps breaking down, and when our interior defense tries to compensate, it sometimes doesn't end well. At times were too small at the guard position. Especially with Collison and Rondo at guard and then McLemore at SF. Even if you switch properly, you'll sometimes end up with a 6 foot player guarding a 6'11"player. Terrible idea.
