Willie does so much that doesn't show up on a stat sheet. Once he becomes more disciplined and experienced on defense, he's going to be a legitimate rim protector.

Luckily the sleeved uniforms are on the way out so we won't have to suffer seeing the Kings look like a parochial high school team. (Needless to see, I really hate them. )

Where is the lie?

Well that team was Cousins, Gay and Thomas with a bunch of junk. Cousins was probably a year away from hitting his prime and Thomas was just scratching the surface of what he is now. The clear move was to move Gay and build around Cousins/Thomas(both about the same age) and surround them with defenders, shooters, hustle guys etc. with Malone at the helm.
