Gobert's combination of length and speed makes him a problematic matchup: he's not strong enough to deny Cousins position in the post, but he's so freakishly long, that it doesn't matter. Against players where Cousins has a height disadvantage, he can usually face them up, and take them off the dribble, but Gobert is also one of maybe two centers in the league who's fast enough to keep up with him from out there. It's like, the only thing you can do to take him out of the game is to catch fire from outside.

Cousins has looked lethargic, particularly on defense. Letting guys go around him like a knife through butter and lazily reaching, creating defensive inbalance. On offense doesnt give Gobert a fake and getting blocked easily.

He is settling for way too many jumpers for my liking

One can only wonder what our record would be if we weren't getting destroyed on the boards every night.

We might improve by a bit if we can get a fullsized PF to play next to Cuz.

Desperation has me wondering what JT is up to these days.....

Cousins is just looking miserable out there, his field goal percentages are bound to drop right where they belong with a few more 6-25 or 8-28 games
