Jamychal Green? (split from Porter thread)

Next target: Jamychal Green. A few years older, 27. But, Will ask for less. I would guesstimate, He can be had for 7-10 million. Grizz made him an offer last Sat.

I see him listed as a PF not a SF. I'm not familiar with his game.

Last thing this team needs is another PF. Kings will either look to add a SF or roll into the season as is!

Green is a smallish PF who concentrates on defense and rebounding. He was given the starting PF role last season in Memphis. Did OK until the Playoffs when Zbo was needed and took back his starting role.

Pretty much a bigger Garret Temple. Multifaceted system player with a great work ethic - plays tough, plays D and makes plays with his athleticism, can shoot out to the 3 point line and can finish strong inside when cutting.
He has the tools to guard smaller players and the fighting spirit and grit to bang against bigger guys. Therefore he is able to guard multiple positions well enough.
Why teams are not lining up to get him is beyond me, but maybe I'm overvaluing him quite a bit, because I really like those no nonsense blue collar dudes.

I agree, he is basically a PF Temple. Teams aren't lining up to get him because they're lining up to sign better players first. Once those guys are off the table, they'll come calling Green. They are good players to have but on legitimate playoff teams they're solid backups at best.
