IN VLADE I TRUST

I watched the Cal Bears win the NCAA championship twice in 1959,1960. They had no stars, but were well coached andplayed as a team. A quote from Wikepedia
Cal wasn’t a team that thrilled many people beyond its own fans. One writer described the bears as “ just a bunch of guys named Joe.” but cal was coached by one of the greats, Pete Newell, and his team-oriented, defensive style won the national championship as the bears beat two teams in the final four that featured two of the best guards in history, Cincinnati (Oscar Robertson) and West Virginia (Jerry West).
I also remember how well the Kings played after Chris Webber's injury, only to have their chemistry destoyed when he came back and Rick Adelman stated "we can't win a championship without Chris."
Perhaps Vlade remembered that lesson.
Basketball is a team sport and there is no I in Team.
In Vlade I trust.
