While I am leaving the news up, as it is reasonably relevant, I am closing the thread for discussion. Explanation follows.

There are two independent issues regarding Napear's termination. It is important to note that they are not the same issue.
1) Should KHTK have terminated Napear over this tweet?
2) Did KHTK have the legal right to terminate Napear over this tweet?

As regards the first question, it is politically charged (such discussion is frowned upon here, of course), and we have already quite thoroughly had that discussion years ago. There is no point to having it again.

As regards the second question, the court has just spoken, and decided that KHTK did have the legal right to terminate Napear. KingsFans.com is decidedly NOT Bob Loblaw's Law Blog, so a discussion on the merits of that decision is certainly not necessary here.

Furthermore, it is very easy, particularly when one feels that one is defending something important, to confuse issues 1) and 2) above, which only has the potential to make discussions nastier than they might be otherwise.

We don't need any of that. We should be focusing on the Playoffs anyhow. As such, thread locked for further comment. Please do not attempt to bring this topic up in another thread - any such comment will be deleted upon sight. Thanks!
