SF: Pippen/Schrempf/Battier
PF: Duncan/R.Wallace/Davis
C: Wallace/Davis/R.Wallace

Backgroud: A Mixture of unselfish players who can make each other better, multi skilled and great defenders.

DEFENSE: A staple of my team, filled with some of the greatest one on one post and help defenders ever. Combined with defensive schemes of Greg Popovich and his Anchor on defense, Tim Duncan a team which will enforce its style of play onto you, even the greatest players will not penetrate such a defensive force. Quadruple Towers, two of the greatest wing defenders, and a ball stopper in Frazier.

My team possesses the tools to be the most dominant defensive team ever, disrupting passing lanes, communication and help defense, drawing charges, blocked shots and most of all, Extremely good help defense. Also my team finishes the defense by REBOUNDING THE BALL. The ability to play slow or fast, force a defensive style on you. Even the greatest of players will be frsutrated by a total team effect coached by Greg Popovich.

Greg Popovich will coach the team to play suffocating defense, full court press, grind it out style, a plethora of defenders to throw at you.
Perimeter,

Scottie Pippen-Member of the NBA All-Defensive Team from 1991-2000 (First Team member seven times) A total Disruptor on defense, plays passing lanes, blocks shot, extremely lengthy Perimeter Defender. A leader on defense.

Shane Battier
- A consumate team professional who sacrifice his body, a nice change of pace defender to throw at your wings, excellent help defender. Brings Intangibles on defense, can take the charge.

Mitch Richmond
- An Underrated defender, extremely strong, can defend against guards posting up against him, very underrated perimeter defender

Walt 'Clyde" Frazier - Extremely good PG/SG defender, possessing size and strength, incredibly quick hands,disruptor... Remember the steal on Jerry west?

Post,

Do not enter,
the foundation of my team, great help defenders and shot blockers, tough and brings extreme hustle. Take charges, offensive rebound, intimidation.

Tim Duncan -
The greatest power forward to ever play the game, one of the greatest help defenders, post defenders, and shot blockers.. He's dominated some of the greatest big men to play the game, He's battled against Shaq, and won, Marcus Camby? Yep, dominated Webber and Garnett. A total team player and communicator. Tough.

Ben Wallace - A 4x NBA Defensive Player of the Year (2002, 2003, 2005, 2006), a Vicous shotblocker, averaging 15.5RPG and 3.5 blocks in his best season, He does things that are not recorded, like Shane Battier, will bring intangibles on defense, draws charges, very quick and can steal the ball, one of the greatest defenders, hustle players EVER.

Dale Davis - Double D,
the unheralded workhorse of the Indiana Pacers, extremely strong and tough, can block shots and will sacrifice his body and give it his all, extremely Good one on one defender, tough enforcer.

Rasheed Wallace - Another extremely good one on one post defender, extemely good shot-blocker, paired with his good buddy Ben Wallace so familiarty with each other. Great rebounder.

OFFENSE

My Team consists of very efficient scorers that stick to their strengths and do not force bad shots, patient and intelligent, unselfish and know their roles.

We have the ability and personnel to play slow or fast, but most likely will limit possessions and will play a slower paced game with dominant big men and rebounding.

We have flexibility and multi skilled players with size to cause mismatches across the board, speed, size, quickness, passing.

We play an inside out game as coached by Greg Popovich, most if not all three pointers will be wide open, the ball swinging side from side, we will run flare screens and curls. Versatile offense based on ball and player movement, playing inside and out, and when it matters Duncan will be there to bail us out.

Style: flexibility, inside out offense based on ball and players movement, good open PERFECT EXECUTION.

Intangibles: Duncan, Richmond, Hamilton, Pippen, Cassell , all leaders on the court directing traffic, coaches extension , no turnover ball handler and passer in Frazier.

Tim Duncan: Seemingly underrated, extremely dominant, he has gone against some of the best big men ever , in triple and double teams, and has dominated, has gotten his teammates involved, runs the pick and roll well, sees the floor.

OTHER INFO...

LEADERSHIP

When the going gets tough, my players will band together, a group of consumate professionals dedicated to winning and playing the right way to their strengths. Discussing plays on the bench, voices during time outs and in games, directing offense and communicating on defense.

Continuity: A group of players aside from Rasheed Wallace that do not cause any trouble at all, Rasheed only gets technicals but his intensity in games the team feeds off of, Popvich gets along very well with his players, a group of players that will have no problem getting along with each other.

Experience:
Every player on my team has experience, whether NCAA Championship or deep into the playoffs, battle tested and hardened, they know what it takes to win, Greg Popovich too.

COACHING

With a coaching team of Jackson and Holzman I feel I have a perfect combo. With Phil teaching the guys how to play the game and his famous triangle offense, and with Red concentrating on defense and toughness, I fell that even though my two coaches even though completly different style compliment each other very well. Witha combined 11 championships between the two, I feel the experience and knowledge of the game is an awesome asset to have as an NBA coach. In conclusion I would also like to state that some of you who think that Artest's and Iverson's attitude promblems would be a challenge for my team...He handled Rodman as much as he could didn't he.

OFFENSE

Well I got a whole bunch of offensive players on my team. But I would like to run the offense through Iverson. I would still like Stockton to be point, but Iverson is going to be my number 1 scoring option. I feel the athleticism and size of Tracy could allow him to play any position excluding the Center spot. When we are not feeling it from the outside we could then just kick it in to Yao or Mikan, and get an easy two. Even when we go to the bench we are still strong. We have Allen Houston who could come in and hit some jump shots. We have Ron Artest who will be his tenacious self. We have Rajon Rondo who could lead an offense just as good as anyone. Lets just say we have alot of firepower on the offensive end alot of guys who can get hot and light your team up.

DEFENSE

Our team is mostly centered around offense, but we still are a powerful powerful team on defense. Our number 1 defender Ron Artest s going to be that guy who will guard your best player. He will get iside their minds an make them get stupid technicals, make them commit stupid fouls, make them take stupid shots. We also have Rondo coming of the bench, he is the one who will shut down your point guard, he will pressure them all the way up court make nothing easy. Everything is a challenge when you play my team. When you get down low you got big Elmore Smith ready to swat your stuff away. And when I'm feeling really antsy I will have Yao and Bol down there at the same time. They are going to bother your shots no matter what. I also have a rebounding machine by the name of Jerry Lucas. Yes this is the guy who said he would rather rebound then eat. He will make things difficult for your team, he will be the guy always boxing out, always looking for that rebound, always hustling after the basketball. So in conclusion I would like to state one last piece of advice......

DONT MESS WITH THE BEST

Sweet. Looking forward to the playoffs. I won't be home until late tomorrow night, so I will have my rankings in by either late late tomorrow, or Friday morning. :)

"Westies Besties"

Starting 5:
PG- Nate "tiny" Archibald
SG- Jerry West
C- Bill Walton
PF- Kevin Garnett
SF- Carmelo Anthony

Bench Rotation: Parish/Mullin/"EJ"/Paxson

Hitman: Mahorn

Cheerleaders: Buck and Mateen

Offense: Offensively, this team has no limits. Coach Jones will utilize a variety of schemes depending on matchups to best utilize personel. West, Garnett and Anthony will be the primary scoring options as most of the plays will be run for them. A high low game with Walton and Garnett will be tremendously effective. The ability of "Tiny" to penetrate and dish will keep opposing defenses on their toes. Melo will also be used in several "iso" situations on the wing or posted up on the block to maximize the mismatches that he poses. A 9 man rotation will primarily be used with EJ and Mullin being my primary scorers off the bench.

Defense: Although there are some great individual defenders on the roster, team defense will be the name of the game for the "Westies." Anchored by the tenacity of Kevin Garnett and length of Bill Walton a mix of man and zone will prove most effective with this group. And if one of the opposing players is having one of those games....in comes Mahorn to drop the hammer. (thuggery is not beneath the "Westies")

Coaching: K.C. Jones has said "I listen to the players. My job is to give them direction and a base to operate from, but you have to let them use their own creativity and imaginations. It's their game, they have to be allowed to play it." With this core of superstars it would be counterproductive for a coach to try and do too much. These guys all know how the game needs to be played in order to win. Jones is simply here to give direction and recognize match ups.

The Dream's Team

Starters
C-Hakeem Olajuwon
PF-Bob Pettit --- PF
SF-John Havlicek --- SF
SG-Reggie Miller --- SG
PG-Chris Paul --- PG

6th man
Vinnie "Microwave" Johnson

Bench:
Craig Hodges --- SG
Shawn Marion --- SF/PF/C
Ralph Sampson --- PF/C
PJ Brown --- PF/C

12th men
Mike Bibby --- PG
Matt Harpring --- G/F

Coaches:
Head Coach - Don Nelson
Asst. Coach - PJ Calesimo

Coaching

The coaching will be two fold. With the speed and decision-making of Chris Paul, and the domination inside of Hakeem Olajuwon, offense will be the main point set by coach Nelson. He will teach an extremely fast paced offense, which will test the legs of not just his own team, but wear out those of the opponent. Expect extremely high scores when you play this team. Olajuwon and Paul will both demand strong coverage, and with shooters on the wings like Miller, Johnson, and Hodges, any doubles against the two big stars could be deadly. But, offense won't be the team's only sticking point. Carlisemo will press the urgency of a tight man defense, with weakside help and doubles by all of the team's talented big men.

OFFENSE

One word. Options. There will not be one way to defend this team. Paul will constantly push the ball and try to find the open man. The two-man game between him and Olajuwon will be ran constantly. Pettit will be mainly used as a safety valve, taking the open jumpers when they are there and offensive boarding some of our (very few) misses. He will also be needed to run some of the offense from the high post when Paul needs a break from ball handling. Vinnie Johnson and Shawn Marion will be the two major energy guys off the bench. They will be looked at to score in bunches when put in and not disrupt the flow of the offense. PJ Brown will be used in spots when the team needs another big man who's mid range shot in money in the bank. Every person on this team will be able to hit that shot. Any helps will cost you.

DEFENSE

Havlicek will be put nightly on the other team's top swingman, with Olajuwon covering the best big, and Paul putting his defensive guiles to the test on the best opposing small. With these three, the defensive woes of Pettit and Miller will be largely overlooked. Marion will be the big stopper off the bench. His speed, atheleticism, rebounding and shot blocking skill will make him a game changer when put in. Ralph Sampson will be looked at to be the most solid man defender of the bench. Don't expect any high flying plays from him, just great defense on back up bigs every game. Matt Harpring will be put in when anyone on the opposide side needs a good slap-around or just needs to know that the lane to the basket isn't going to be as easy to get to anymore. Sure, he can play bit dirty, but its necessary some times. Like Charles Barkley once said, "Sometimes you just gotta knock a guy on his ***."

Our play will be centered a lot on inside out. Think the Orlando Magic but with way better defense, even better shooters, and a future HOF point guard.

"The Dirty Dozen"

AleksandarN
1: Kobe Bryant --- SG
2: David Robinson --- C
3: Grant Hill --- SF
4: Maurice Cheeks --- PG
5: Dave DeBusschere --- PF
6: Jerry Sloan --- Head Coach
7: Penny Hardaway --- PG/SG
8: Shawn "Reign Man" Kemp --- PF
9: Glen Rice --- SF
10: Tree Rollins --- C
11: Clifford R. Robinson --- F/C
12: Kevin Willis --- PF/C
13: Marko Jaric --- PG/SG/SF
14: Tex Winter --- Asst. Coach

OK I will start with the rotation

Starting lineup

PG: Maurice Cheeks(defensive specialist)
SG: KOBE(go to guy and defensive stopper)
SF: Grant Hill(point forward the distributor)
PF: Dave DeBusschere(defensive specialist)
C: David Robinson(The defensive anchor)

The Bench

Penny Hardaway(sixth man backup pg/sg/sf)
Shaun Kemp(athletic high flier)
Glen Rice(3pt specialist)
Tree Rollins,Clifford R. Robinson,Kevin Willis(defensive role players)
Marko Jaric(12 man and Adriana Lima )

Coaches

Jerry Sloan(Head Coach defensive hard ***)
Tex Winter (Assistant Coach offensive Guru)

VERSATILITY

With my team I have alot of players that can play many positions with I will be able to adjust on defense and offense and create mismatches and or match up with anyone if they go big or small

CLUTCH

With players such as Kobe and The Admiral I will not have to worry about crunch time with those two on the court. If I need a timely stop or basket I can rely on both

OFFENSE

With Tex as my Guru and main man behind the The triangle system most of offense will be with in the system and having smart players the system should work perfectly. Also with the team set up as it is I have only one or two players who need the ball so it makes it easier to the Triangle. I did not set up my team with a billion scorers but I knew there was only one ball so I wanted players that could pass and//or shoot open jumpers when needed. With my three main scorers in Penny, Robinson and Kobe I think this system will pay dividends. Also the other players in my starting lineup have averaged 50% shooting at time through out there career. I will also use pick and roles when needed depending on the defensive schemes other teams throw at me. With Sloan as head coach and his experience with Karl and John I think the pick and role will be fine.

DEFENSE

With 28 All Team Defensive Teams in my starting lineup alone it should prove very daunting for the opposing teams. With players they have all been pick with defense in mind with a flew exceptions. Also with flew having to concentrate on offense they can put there energy in defending. Also with Jerry in charge anyone who comes into the lane for an easy basket will met with a hard foul.
