One song made the difference for me - I firmly believe Heart's version of Stairway to Heaven is the best cover ever made. I was very surprised to see it drop so far in the draft. Had Chubbs not picks that song, I think I might still be trying to reach a decision.

It's one of my favorites of my whole list. I wanted to take it super early but I think I lucked out in that it was off the radar for some reason.

I regret not taking more diverse artists. Could have easily included Earth Wind and Fire "Got to get you into my Life" or Stevie wonder doing "We Can Work It Out" while not breaking the general Classic rock vibe.

I do have to pat myself on the back for Sweet Jane that late. :)

I think it's relatively easy to understand why it was off the radar - recent live performance, not to my knowledge ever released (did they put together an album of those?). I mean, I only knew it existed because I got straight-up lucky and was flipping through the channels when the Zepp tribute was going on and paused to check it out. "Oh, Heart is coming up? I wonder how they sound these days." Pure luck. And when I was putting together my list, live performances really never crossed my mind.

You can buy it on iTunes. I did.

I would have overlooked it as well till I checked to see if it could be purchased. Since it was available (almost everything is these days), why not?

It also showed up in Rolling Stones top 10 covers of the last decade or some such list.
