Boogie at the Olympics

Just curious to know who you think France "stole" from other countries...

On the other hand, it's just hilarious that you named Montenegro as an "example": their national team's point guards are Taylor Rochestie and Tyrese Rice, both american born players who suddenly got a montenegrin passport in 2012 and 2013...
Well when they were together they didn't I have not really kept up with the Montenegro teams since they split from Serbia. If that's true (which I have no reason to doubt) what your saying they have shamed the whole Balkan region. I'm not a fan of the whole naturalised player thing which is why I respect teams like Serbia/Lithuanian amongst the other few Euro teams that play there own.

You don't even need a "superstar" play maker. Just about any play makers will do; you just need fewer players that are looking for their own shot. Draymond Green might be the only guy on the whole team whose first instinct when he gets the ball is to look for the open man.
I mean, in a vacuum, just about everyone on the team is a great playmaker respective to their positions, excluding DJ and probably Demar. But you're right, they're struggling, because they're all used to being the lead option and looking to score first. Hard to have 5 guys on the floor like that. Guys like Kidd, Bron and CP3 have always been passer first which greatly helped facilitate the last 2 teams. Kyrie, Melo and Durant (the 3 main cogs according to minutes this time around) are a far cry from the past lead passers.

France didn't steal anything in this case (talking about basketball, of course, I don't want turn this discussion into political).
Mirotic or Ibaka can play for Spain as much as Olajuwon was playing for the U.S.A.

American players playing for eastern european contries is a different story.
Those american players as Rochestie and Rice got an easy passport just to play in European leagues as "European player" and not as "non-European player" in order to get more leverage during contract negotiations, or to make it simple and clear... in order to get more money.
In European leagues you have to build up your team respecting some restrictions (for example, here in Italy you must have not more than 3 "non-EU players", not more than 4 "EU players" and 5 "Italian players" for a 12 players roster or even 5 "non-EU players" and 5 "Italian players" for a 10 players roster), so basically having the chance to sign a guy like Rice as Europaen makes the difference. I don't like it, of course. As these players obtain these easy passports, at least I hope they play during the summer for the national teams. Even Croatia, which always had a great basketball tradition, used to play with Draper or Lafayette until a couple of years ago.

lol.

Rubio is basically what Prime Rondo was. Unreal passer, defender, great rebounder for a PG, competes hard. Even got his TS% up to 52% because he was outstanding at getting to the line.
This team doesn't have enough talent to surround Rubio's deficiencies and get away with it IMO.

How can dmc cousins get so much fouls.

99% of them "fouls" never is fouls in NBA.

Get benched for deandre ****ing jordan. When he fouls he dont get whistled for fouls rotflmao.

Best player sit on the bench. Hope serbia wins the final.

Any predictions on what judgments Cousins will pass on Bogdan, if Bogdan does well in this Olympic Gold game today?
Also has there been any interview with Cousins commenting on playing against Bogdan?

I'm trying to be objective but it sure likes Serbia can grab and muck it up, but we keep getting called for the fouls trying to do the same thing

Boogy's 2-way presence is so much more efficient than DeAndre's all-defensive focus...

With Cuz, the team moved the ball upcourt a lot faster, and got things done in transition.

I've said it before but one of the best moves Coach K made was to put Boogie in with the 2nd unit. The first unit personifies the idea that there is only one ball. They needed a defensive specialist like Jordan. The 2nd unit needed more scoring and ta daaah, in comes Boogie.
