    Bagley.

He's injury prone. Kings will be lucky to get 60 games out of him a year.

[Game] Kings vs Clippers 3/1- 7PT/10ET

Kings gave up 16 offensive rebounds last night. Seems like a common theme with this team. When you're a poor rebounding team, it only makes sense to go with a small ball lineup and insert a guy who is shooting 33% from three while struggling with his offense all year taking low percentage shots...

    Kyrie Irving

One of the teams Kyrie is rumored to be interested in is NY although it could be just the media in NY thinks every player is eager to play for the Knicks.

    Revisiting DMC - again

The stigma that Cousins is a crybaby and whiner and treads on being a borderline locker room cancer.

    Revisiting DMC - again

How about punching a teammate during his rookie year? Cursing out Westphal demanding a trade during practice? Threatening to not board the team plane until Francisco Garcia convinced him otherwise?

    Revisiting DMC - again

I don't think Love is more valuable than Cousins, but their values is similar in terms of on-court production are similar. I think Love's worth was highly inflated because Lebron publicly endorsed him and cornered the Cavs into an unfavorable bargaining position. Teams were also hesitant to...

    Revisiting DMC - again

You just proved my point. Cousins is not worth what you think he is because this era is not conducive to big men. Factor in that Cousins is only under contract for 1 1/2 years, I can see why teams did not relent to Vlade's demands. I'd give up what the Thunder gave for Paul George, which...

    Revisiting DMC - again

I disagree with your using Kevin Love as a baseline considering that particular trade involved special circumstances.

And this would be at the behest of a HoFer similar to Lebron James?

    Revisiting DMC - again

Back to the Cousins' trade value, what would you give up for a player who has never one more than 33 games in his career considering players like Carmelo, Lebron, Wade and Kobe have won 40 games playing with scrubs?

Free Agency Open Thread (NBA and Kings!)

The Kings still have $15 million in cap room to take back a bad contract + draft pick. It might be that towards the deadline, the teams over the luxury cap may be more willing to part with their picks.

    Revisiting DMC - again

I think the Cousins debate was revived following the two trades of Butler and George. Some people vehemently contend that Cousins should have fetched a King's ransom while two other star players who are on the same level as Cousins fetched less than the return the Kings received. This may come...

    Revisiting DMC - again

Didn't Cousins play with Tyreke "ROY" Evans? How about Isaiah "King of the Fourth" Thomas? What about Marcus Thornton? Rudy Gay? Cousins never had that star player alongside him, but he had capable players where a winning record would have been achievable.

    Revisiting DMC - again

Lebron James took untalented D-League Cavs players to the finals and multiple playoff appearances. Now they didn't win championships , but he got them to > .500 record consistently. I keep hearing about what a once in a generation talent he is. A no doubt first ballot hall of famer. A...

    Revisiting DMC - again

Cousins is a very good player. I'm just not sure if he could put up the same numbers on a winning team or be the #1 option on a great team.

    Starters,Bench, gotta earn it

I can see Carter starting, but he won't get more than 20 mins / game.

    Revisiting DMC - again

I have never said that the Kings were bad because of Cousins. What I have repeatedly stated is that because the Kings will be bad with or without Cousins, there is simply no point in investing 35-45% of your team's salary in one player no matter how good they are for the next 5 years.

    Rebuild...ahead of schedule?

An injury prone Hill and 37 year old Randolph won't affect the win total very much. I agree that picking higher in the lottery is better, but I just don't see the two veterans moving the needle.

I saw Reggie Evans in the Big 3 League. Can he still ball?
