I love how not playing that well - even if only for a few minutes - automatically puts Jimmer onto the bench. Why aren't any of the other players on such a short leash?

Jimmer has always been on an extremely short leash in Sacramento. Thornton, IT, McLemore, etc. consistently pump out weak effort after weak effort with zero to no consequences. Jimmer, on the other hand... well let's be honest, there seems to be ZERO correlation between how well he plays and how...

Starting to think some people MAY have overvalued McCallum's good stats in garbage time just a tad too much...

McCallum, McLemore, and Thornton combined 0-8 shooting, but Jimmer nowhere to be seen. Looks like he's staring to the the Keith Smart treatment, where consistent play does not reward minutes... Unless, of course, the reports were wrong and he's still too sick to play.

Well IT finally threw up a shot that went in... that ought to be enough to convince Malone to play him another 40 minute game.

Coach Malone is starting to devolve into a slightly more intelligent version of Coach Smart over the past couple weeks or so.

Fair enough, but your defense of Thornton poses a bit of a double standard, as nearly everyone on this board seems to agree that Jimmer can't play PG and should be at the 2, instead. So you can't have it both ways. And I think you are overplaying the snark factor of my post. I'd give it a 4/10...

Perfect post to follow up my 2nd post in this thread with. Nobody will give this guy a hard time for making a baseless attack, yet several people will be up in arms over me using statistics and facts to try and prove a point.

We must be watching a different game. He has tried several times to create for his teammates.

For all the sensationalism I see on here and opinions/attacks that lack a statistical foundation, I feel that this post is a bit more fair than you are giving it credit for.
