Are we overlooking Shump as our SF?

This was an amazing game by Gabriel-- but his following games were much less impressive and reveal he struggles with consistency and foul trouble. It does not appear he's ready for the NBA.

Sacramento Kings have 4th best home advantage out of all NBA/MLB/NHL/NFL teams

Here's the DATA/Study. I saw this on r/baseball and it was an interesting read in the news-less portion of the offseason. The top 5 teams: 1) Denver Nuggets 2)Utah Jazz 3)GS Warriors 4)Kings 5)Portland Trailblazers Surprises: San Francisco Giants were towards the bottom of the study...

    Jason Jones leaving the Bee

Uhg... Why Jones? The Athletic has been scooping up some talented journalist/sports insiders. I feel like Jones was less connected to the Kings than AV. Should have gone after Cunningham/Ham.

    Trade for Jimmy Butler?

He's 28 and does not fit our timeline well. We would have to compete against the Lakers/Celtics who have quality prospects that they can afford to lose in an effort to compete against GSW. A Kings trade would most likely have to evolve around Bagley... no thanks.

    Backup PG targets

I will concede he had a good game, but my point still stands. I don't think he's ready and I hope that I am wrong. To me, he seems like a SG trapped in a PG's body.

    Backup PG targets

After watching Frank Mason play in the SL games it is apparent that there is no way he is ready to lead the second unit. I know we can play Temple and Bogi as a backup PG in a pinch but would prefer a typical PG that can excel with a pick-and-roll game with our young bigs. Looking through the...

    Randolph arrested

Here's TMZ video of ZBO being released from jail. If ZBO hangs around idiots like the big guy at the end of the video, we should just cut our losses. I voted for marijuana to be legalized. I think a backpack of weed should be no different than a cooler full of beer. I was in law enforcement for...

Grades: Kings Summer League GAME 1, 7/7/17

Well, I saw some nice footwork from Chriss in the post vs Cooley - something I don't think TT really ever had.

One thing I noticed about Skal was the lack of passion/fire/aggression that we saw in his NBA stint post-DMC. This could be him taking a backseat to the new rookies, but I'd prefer if Skal was the big the offense run through and not Papa G.

Grades: Kings Summer League GAME 1, 7/7/17

I know, I know... it was just one game - but Papa G worries me. His size and foot speed prevented him from guarding Chriss on the perimeter, yet he was unable to use his size in the post vs Chriss. So his size was a detriment on defense and a non-factor on offense. I just keep telling myself...

[Matt Dery] Sacramento showing big interest in Drummond

That and his skillset seems archaic in today's NBA.

NBA’s salary cap to drop by $2 million to $99 million

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nba/2017/06/19/latest-nba-draft-buzz/408862001/ Thanks to the Cavs and Warriors plowing through the playoffs, the Kings' cap room just increased in value.

Houston shopping assets to clear space...

Unless there is an incentive to take on Ryno's contract, we should stay put. He does not help us at this point in time. When we had DMC, yes... there was a fit. But not now.

    Trade with San Antonio?

Sam Amic with an '0' is an absolute hack reporter. If it was not for Sam Amic without the '0' he would be no more than a random twitter reporter.

    Paul Milsap

Well, we received a first for Marco Belli... and he's not a better player than Tyreke on an expiring contract. Randy Foye got traded for two 2nd rd picks... I have a feeling the FO wanted to keep Tyreke to possibly bring back nostalgia and lessen the DMC shock.

    Paul Milsap

I love Milsap... but he does nothing for our near future. This is also why I was upset that we kept Galloway/Tyreke in the NO deal... wish we could have traded them off to a contender for extra draft pieces... even 2nd round picks (If that's what was available?). Anything that could bolster our...
