[Game] Kings v. Jazz - Wednesday, Jan. 17 - 7 PT

I take back every nice thing I ever said about Joerger. Hill & ZBo start. KK first off the bench. Empty ass arena. I’m over Dave Joerger
No Temple though, and I still like him better than Karl. But yeah, seeing Zbo and KK is a bummer. Throw Papa out on the court and let's see if he's jazzy enough for Vivek!

It’s embarrassing our offense, the only team in the league who doesn’t run pick and roll

I'm falling back into the great tanking side of things. I've never seen a coach ram such a terrible fit offensively down his teams throat, talk about running then doing nothing but running clock via side to side ball movement/post up sets, and then find ways to cut off any big game moments from his players that aren't named Zach Randolph. There's a plan here. What it is, nobody has a clue. That could be Joerger being 15 steps ahead of everyone else. You never know.

I hope so

We’re gonna suck regardless but to not run pick and rolls with Fox and Bogdan is a fireable offense to me. Hell Bogdans best skill set is in pick and roll

One positive is he appears to be running a legit rotation tonight. It's funny how Joeger has no middle ground on what he does. On the nights he doesn't run platoon he's playing players for a whole quarter straight. Karl did the same thing with Cuz sometimes, but it was fairly consistent when he did it. It's like the magic 8 ball determines who plays and at what times.

Unless the directive is coming from above. This could be Vlade calling the shots and forcing Joerger to run the old Adelman Kings high post sets. I mean, probably not forcing considering that's the set he ran in Memphis too but still. Either way, yes, it's a failure most nights that is starting to cause more harm than good.

See, it wasn't just Buddy being a bad defender the other game. The Kings play off defensively on the right side of the floor at the short corner and the far corner. Bogdan comes to help and leaves a wide open 3 point shooter at the spot they are giving up 46% from this year.

It sure it getting tough watching a team torch the Kings in the same very sets they should be running on the other side. Hill has the ball 30 feet from the hoop on the right side. Buddy is running one man cuts to nowhere with a big on the other side of the floor. Fox stands around watching. They get the ball to Zbo again. I can't believe it, but this may be the most embarrassing offense the Kings have run throughout their entire myriad of coaching changes in the last 12 years. Unbelievable.

I used to stick up for Joerger & Vlade. But I got nothin. This game was a dreary bore from the jump and I’m glad I don’t have to see their sorry asses again until February. Truth
