Sorry all for not starting this earlier. Life and all that...

I still hate the Clippers. I still hate LA. I still LOVE THIS TEAM!

GO KINGS!
Football is on at the same time, so that will be watched instead of the Kings. However, and as always, the Kings game will be recording on my DVR, so I will watch it later.

GO KINGS!

BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA!

I know, I know, I know......wrong LA team and, yes, it doesn't sound the same without the darn Cowbells ringing along with it. And that Arco Thunder, too :)

Being in the Eastern Time Zone, these "early" starts are good for me, I can watch it live, although I will probably DVR it and delay it 30 minutes or so, so I can fast forward through the commercials. I DVR most games and watch them the next day after work. I generally check in with ESPN Gamecast and box score or something and I know the outcome before I even watch it. I also usually check in here and read the comments, which is amusing sometimes, before I actually watch the game. Generally full of the sky is falling and what a horrible game, etc. etc. If I just relied on the comments for the last two games, I would not even have watched the recording. But I have learned to take the comments with a grain of salt, people get emotional and frustrated during the game (which is why I stopped posting in live game threads years ago for the most part. I am just a not nice man during games of any kind). I thought the last two games were very entertaining, especially the last one. The Kings never quit, fought hard, played hard for the most part, made a "galiant" comeback, and just fell a little short. The Kings as a whole are up and down, both as a team and as individual players. Definitely more downs than up. I still don't understand why fans seem to be surprised with their inconsistent play and why they are continuing to lose games. I guess it comes back to not understanding what a rebuild with all these young inexperienced players would be like. I know some people actually thought the team as constructed would compete for a play off spot. That is beyond me. I read comments and even hear the broadcasters say this is a game the Kings should win. Seriously, I doubt that there are 3 teams right now, that on a given night you can say that about. It is more appropriate against some teams to say this is a game the Kings have a chance to win. I think there is progress being made, Bogs, Willie, and Buddy have been stepping up their game (especially last 15 games or so), Mason looked good and then regressed and now has an injury, but I think when he comes back he will pick up his game, too. The injury to Fox may have actually helped him, he looks so much more in command, of course it's just a small sample size, but hopefully it is a harbinger of things to come. Skal shows flashes, but still seems to be stuck in some bad habits. Jackson and Malachi have had their moments, but still have a long way to go as does Papa. So, I am looking forward to the game, don't expect a win, but won't be disappointed if they do win. I'll look for growth as a team and growth in individuals.

Maybe his defense?

I didn't see anything other than the help underneath which is what Joerger wants. Actually, he covered Williams from what I could tell. And still, it's hard to use defense as a reasoning behind any decision considering the hurt they are putting on the Kings in other matchups that others players seem to be immune to.

The vets stuff has to stop. I didn’t want that in the first place but now I feel even more that. Starting Temple/Hill/Randolph.. This team needs to embrace youth, get up and down and get at the first pick
