Two members of the youth movement playing "decently" and vets upping trade value (assuming the FO even wants to trade them, which is a long shot) is a tough sell.
We're heading towards a pick in the 5-8 range, instead of the 1-5 range, and none of the kids on the roster are really flashing allstar potential, much less franchise player potential.... it's tough to get psyched right now.
I'm still gonna hang on and follow the team, but it's more outta habit than enthusiasm at this point. I'm passed out in the back of the bandwagon. Wake me up when we get there.

I'm kind of seeing this thought throughout this site, but I don't see how anyone can make that distinction when none of the kids have control of the offense. We're basically back to the old days of the "Boogie offense" where we dump it down to ZBO and let him ISO and go from there. And add to the fact that basically none of our young guys core fits with ZBO's old man, slow as hell, grind it out game; it's pretty easy to see why no one but Buddy has flashed major potential. Now with Hill rebounding to who he normally is as well, he's taking even more offensive responsibility off the youngin's
Until he's gone and we see Buddy/Bogdan/Fox/Mason/WCS take the wheel, we can't really make any determinations about the young core. Even still... we're only 28 games into the year... not the biggest sample.
Something interesting though:
Fox: 23.8% AST rate
Bogdan: 14.4% AST rate
WCS: 14.4% AST rate
Buddy: 11.1% AST rate
Mason: 26.7% AST rate
There's potential to have a very good passing team here that's not all about the ZBO show.
