[Game] Kings @ Cavaliers - Wednesday, 12/6 - 4 PT

Sampson is the Quincy Acy type, though Acy has/had more of an offensive game.

Undersized forward who plays with grit and rebounds. The league doesn't really value those type of guys that much and you ideally don't want him as more than your 11th man at best.
Not so sure Jakar has played SF in his stints in Philly and Denver and actually had the ability to put the ball on the floor (assume still does), Acy the past 3 seasons has been a better shooter but to me Sampson is a better more fluid athlete who can maneuver through traffic Acy while explosive is a bit stiff/mechanical in his movements and can't dribble the ball.

Sampson has a higher ceiling imo

Not even close tbh.

Acy has basically survived purely off his "hustle/grit" but he's never actually been an NBA talent on either end of the floor. Where Sampson becomes intriguing is on the defensive end where he's shown the ability to switch (the most important skill on defense today) onto guards and he'll likely be able to defend multiple positions with his good athleticism and wing-span. The motor has always been there for him, but the 16 boards last night is really whats peaking my interest if that's something he can add that he hasn't shown in his career.
