I really liked OG in the draft, and when it looked like we had the 15 & 20 was hoping we drafted him.

Looks like he had an ok Raptor debut tonight all ready contributing. Have a feeling that was our 3 & D sf role rotation guy we've needed sitting right there available.

Lol, Beverly made Lonzo look like a punk. The guys on Inside the NBA are right; people are going to go at this kid, and he's already thoroughly mediocre as is. It's not going to get easier; Bledsoe on deck tomorrow.

Ingram is really really really really really bad.

I didn't think Lonzo looked all that bad for a guy having his debut against the best defensive PG in the game. Lonzo is eventually going to be a guy who helps his team win games. He does too much and makes his teammates better. He's also going to be the best rebounding PG in the game. Plus I didn't think his defense looked bad at all last night. Once his shot starts falling a bit better, he's going to start racking up triple doubles.

He makes a ton of passes that don't go for assists because he's not out there assist hunting. He may throw the ball a couple seconds early to his man to where his man scores but he doesn't get the assist from it. Those full court passes are a thing of beauty and will hurt teams that don't get back down the court. His dad might be crazy but I don't really have a problem with the kid myself. Seems like a good enough kid that just has a loud mouth for a father.

Ball's defense looked really good out there. We'll need to see him against better scoring PGs, but he was able to move his feet, stay in front, and fight through screens. I think he might get beat 1 on 1 a lot by the quicker guards, but it seems like his big frame and wingspan allows for good recover D.

The one thing I like about Ball is that he doesn't assist hunt. Guys like Wall, Rondo, and Rubio are guys who tend to do this a lot. He's playing within their offense and making necessary passes. However, his big problem will ultimately come down to how effectively he can break down the 1/2 court defense. If he can fully run 1/2 court sets for his teammates. He does a good job at pushing and nulling pace, but the NBA always comes down to 1/2 court offense. He needs to be more of an aggressive scorer because often times, he's just caught floating out there.

His debut was poor for the #2 pick, but he did flash a lot of positive things.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw that he wasn't out there assist hunting.

One thing I noticed is that Lonzo is pretty good as using screens. For whatever reason, the Kings haven't been able to correctly execute screens for years. We run them all game and it seems like 9/10 they just take up time from the shot clock while putting us right in the same situation we were in before the screen happened.

Anyway, Lonzo isn't going to be the guy who crosses you up and takes it to the rim in a half court set but he knows how to use his screens and gets open multiple times a game just by being fundamentally sound that way.

So, let me see if I have this right: New Orleans' two biggest problems are perimeter defense, and lack of a starting-caliber SG... so, they dumped their best backup SG to sign Jameer Nelson?

Dear lord, Phoenix is pathetic. Watching Josh Jackson try to guard Blake Griffin is hilarious though.

They lost by 42. Lol

Last night was very interesting as the Warriors went down in defeat. Curry and Durant were both ejected near the end of the game. Talk about sore losers. They love to mug for the camera and stick their tongues out and show off for the crowd. But they can't take defeat. They are a great team but emotionally weak, and have little respect for the game.

Nets straight collapsing at home against the Hawks. I feel like it's more appropriate to just call it a collapse, though, because Brooklyn doesn't have high enough expectations for it to be classified as a choke; they're just plain sorry.

And, as I post that, Brooklyn comes back with a 7-0 run, just to make me look bad.

Schröder just went to the locker room with what Bob Rathbun described as a "badly turned ankle."

Clearly the Nets just wanted to embarrass me on the internet: blow a 16-point lead late, wait until I talk bad about them on the internet, and then close the game on a 17-5 run. I mean, that's how it works, right? I have been assured that that's how it works: someone who works for the Nets was just scanning the web, waiting for my post to pop up, and then said, "Got Eem!" and told the Nets to pull the trigger.

That's horrible news for Teodosic and the Clippers.

However, speaking in terms of talent, Tedosic is nowhere as good as Serbian fans try to make him out to be. He looks like a backup PG in the NBA. I don't think the Clippers will suffer much from this injury aside from depth. They're already having Blake be point-forward at times.
