[Game] Kings v. Rockets - Wednesday, Oct. 18 - 7 PT

Hall of Famer
Rockets were lollygagging for the majority of the game and when it was time to wrap it up, Harden put the hammer down. None the less, very encouraging play from the youth. Too bad Bogs didn't get in on the action due to an injury. I'd like to see Mason get a chance too eventually.

Yes this was my 1 annoyance of the game....Mason not getting 5-10 min of airtime.

Our perimeter defense looked good. Offense worries me a lot. George Hill seems to be the only one capable of consistently creating his own shot. Hield is wildly inconsistent. Fox struggles to score in the 1/2 court.

I think we're going to lose a lot of games this season, but at least our defense will be good.

I didn't see much lolly gagging.

They called the foul before the review. I saw the ref walk over to the Kings huddle and tell them he called a foul. VC was pissed.
Yep, exactly. You could actually see the ref on the baseline come over after the sideline ref called it OOB. He guessed and he guessed wrong. I would be absolutely shocked if the NBA last 2 minute report says anything other than that being an incorrect call.

Makes way more sense that there essentially was a disagreement on foul vs. out of bounds and they reviewed to figure out who the foul was on...

I was halfway thinking they'd changed the rules and I'd missed it (there have definitely been numerous plays in the past where the guy losing the ball out of bounds *was* fouled but they couldn't retroactively call a foul).

Best defense I've seen in years from the Kings. Usually you see a Houston player at the 3 pt. line wide open. Not in this game. This bodes well going forward.
My thoughts exactly. Feels good to finally have a squad full of guys mobile enough to guard the 3pt line.
I hope Zbo isn't taking too much minutes away from the young guys going forward and somebody is working on Skal's confidence. The kid is making things a bit too complicated and is shying away from simply rising up for his jumpshot.
Spacing didn't look great and I would like to see more plays for Skal, where he just needs to catch and finish instead of those 1vs1 postup attempts.
Whenever we played with pace and the ball moved quickly we looked quite serviceable.
Can't expect more of a young team versus a contender.

Omfg, I thought you couldn't replay a fxxxing foul?
I was hoping someone would mention this. The whole section I was sitting in was going insane. I've never seen that before. It seemed to me the refs lost their focus towards the end of the game and just started calling random crap to destroy the Kings' momentum. Of course, I was in full blown KINGS! mode.

It has literally been years since I had that much fun at a game. No drama (othe rthan the refs) and si much HEART by the entire team. The whole bench was engaged in the game from start to finish I said it earlier, but if you haven't gone to a Kings game in a while you need to make plans to attend one ASAP. Fox will take your breath away, you'll be in awe of the legend that is Vince Carter AND you'll love the new arena.

It's a great time to be a Kings fan.

I LOVE THIS TEAM!!
