Kings extend Divac and Joerger through 2019-20

Vlade I'm not sure. Might've waited to see how some of these players looked, but I think the organization felt they wanted the coach/GM on the same timeline, especially given previous incidents

I was thinking a shorter contract might've held Joerger's feet to the fire to play the youth, but maybe it will give him more freedom to do that now

Good show of patience as far as the rebuild goes. The players are Vlade picks, and we're still a couple of years away from knowing what we really have as far as all the youth goes.

Joerger is a damn good coach, but it wont be reflected in the W/L (I'd be amazed if we break 30 Ws next season) with how young and inexperienced this team is.

Ok Vivek, I'll give you credit where credit is due! He may have learned something after all!

Stability is key. For now that is the most important aspect of this all.

When we bought in Scott Perry i thought that was a very very good move which marked that Vivek was thinking ahead to a time where the much more seasoned and qualified Perry would take over.

Vlade has done well and i commend him but there may come a time (not now clearly) when we move for someone else. That being said Vlade has built his team well and very well may keep his role much beyond 2020.

Even if our draft picks don't turn out, I'm not going to say Vlade is a bad GM. At least draft wise. We all know that picking players in the draft takes a lot of luck. If we're all pretty happy with the lot of players we've drafted the last few years and they don't turn out to be good players, it's hard to really point the finger at Vlade and say he did a bad job.

The only glaring possible bad pick I see is big Papa. The rest of them I'm completely comfortable with drafting or taking a flyer on them at that spot due to their potential. He's made a lot of picks so 1 out of 8 being iffy isn't really that bad. At least it was the 13th pick in what looks to be a very weak draft.

My two cents is Vivek is under appreciated as an owner and Vlade undervalued as a GM due to some early mistakes in the beginning of their tenures. But both have shown many strengths and ability to learn and improve on their performances. I see a lot to be optimistic about for the future and Vivek is quickly shooting up the chart of my favorite owners list
