Randolph Gets Community Service Sentence....

#31
In many instances, all the person has to do is find a non-profit or charitable organization that is on the "community service" list and arrange to work off his hours with them. I know up here our local volunteer fire department and the non-profit group that operates our community center and park facilities are both on the lists. I'm sure he'll get it transferred to Sacramento and he'll have a plethora of different organizations he can choose to work with.
I love it, a plethora.

What do you want it to be and why? Is this about doing some good for the community, or something else?
It's PUNISHMENT. Not volunteer work at the local Y or handing out autographs at a local basketball camp. The community service for Randolph should be no different than for Mr. Nobody.

Well given who Zach is it really should be able where he can add the most value but who knows how the bigwigs think about all this.
He can add the most value by picking up trash on the side of the road. Have you seen the highways lately?

It sends a message when a millionaire professional basketball player is relegated to a trash man because he broke the law and the punishment is equal justice for all.

If the most value is in picking up trash then im all for it. Given your comments im sure they could use the extra help.

Just putting it out there that as a resource who needs to be rehabilitated through community service for his sins against humanity as defined through our laws, he should be leveraged for the betterment of society in the most value adding way possible.

I couldnt care less about what message we are sending to millionare basketball players, i just want him to be utilized in a way to gain max benefit. I trust the courts will work it out, or not.

The message is to everyone: equal justice under the law for ALL. The is the principle to which we should attempt to adhere to most closely.

"I'm not speaking a lot about it," Randolph told reporters Monday, "but I felt that I was wrongfully arrested. Things that was put out there wasn't true. But I don't want to be a distraction to my team, my organization, so I'm just going to move forward and play basketball."

I am not sure why but I tend to trust ZeBo on this. If he really took a plea to move on with basketball it makes me sad for the Justice system. But either way I like his dedication to the game... now I just want to see him get serious on the court so maybe, just maybe we can have a successful season with no drama. I just want to watch some hoops this year...
