KINGS! Summer League-Vegas Gm 3 - 7/10/17

LOL Lonzo, LaVar, and Lakers are SCARED. Can't have the #2 pick embarrassed by the #5 pick
I just logged on to use this exact same word! LONZO is scared! Magic is scared! Pollinka is scared! They do NOT want fallout from another dominant performance by our De'Aaron Fox and second guessing that he blew draft less than one month after its occurrence. Oh really Lonzo has a sore groin....? Fake News!

No Kuzma for the Lakers either. He dropped 31 on the Celtics a few days ago. Lakers will be thin
The Lakers are sitting out a couple of other guys to try to make it look less obvious that they do not want the "prized rookie" exposed and embarrassed. No one is buying it. Lonzo is healthy to play. Also what a ripoff to those fans making plans to see "Round 3" traveling from Sacramento and Los Angeles and elsewhere. They are getting a raw deal because the Lakers are shaking in their tighty whities over the speed and unstoppability of De'Aaron Fox!

Kenny Smith the latest King from the 80s to crap 0n Sacramento. Mocking the G1 center get together.

Danny Ainge did it a few weeks ago in regards to coming to Sacramento to watch Josh Jackson.

Lol no love lost

Tonight's the night! You know excitement is running high when the G1C has SOLD OUT for a viewing party!

Game time is 7:30 on NBA-TV. The Cavs-Warriors game is on before ours. They'd better not go into overtime.

This could be the start of a very interesting "rivalry"...

GO LAKERS! RITE, VF??? ;)

Oh, snap, first I've heard that Lonzo's not playin. Drats. He's good afaic, peeps. I loved what I saw vs Boston. Kid put up a triple double. Looks like a less haywire version of young White Choc to me more than Kidd. I dunno bout Fox yet, but I wouldn't take Tatum over Ball no matter how much the Smelt fans hyped him. A guy who can do what Lonzo does is much rarer than the next Melo. Don't need yet another guy who needs to create his own shot and needs to dominate the ball in order to put his mark on a game (because he is primarily a scorer). Zo impacted the game while scoring 11 points. That's what Magic used to do. Zo paints a picture in a game. Constantly scanning forward for up-tempo opportunities and finishes transition plays with smart decisions. There are possessions where he makes 3 snap passes to a different man each time. Ball hits his hand and boom, right back out to another teammate. He has a knuckeball, but I think he could be rusty. Won't know til RS. However, I read fans on UnRealGM and I think they must be morons to hate on a player like that as much as they do for whatever reason. He's smart and he's going to be one of the top 1-2 guys in this draft given time. Love him. He looked so much better in that game vs Boston than BI did in any SL gm last year (and all but 1 preseason gm, and also in any RS gm up until late February). People are seeeriously trippin because his father's obnoxious. Lonzo's not a bad seed at all. He's quiet and doesn't try to show up others or act like an attn ho a la D'Angelo.

I'm at my breaking point.. couple of disappointing affairs to start SL, and a worse taste in the mouth regarding more players than not when this started. It's been a series of bad SLs too. It's a passionate fan base that deserves positivity emitting from the team. If this team looks bad again, against what will be a decimated Lakers team, not only will I be done with SL but I won't feel good at all about the franchise

Need to start to feel good about something and the players on the roster.

Better performances start tonight

That sucks tho. Mag is holdin him out for whatever reason. They canned Ingram for the rest of the games for calf cramps in Gm 1. Kuzma out too. The things I learn on KingsFans.com. I didn't know this yet because it's too effin hot in my computer office earlier than 6pm. This has to be the best draft class the Lakers have had in decades if not the entire LA era. From 1-4, they look like they hit home runs. I'm happy as a little gurrrl. Thomas Bryant, my Norcal homies. How THAT kid dropped to 42 is beyond me. In 2005, they took Bynum (still the youngest player EVER drafted) at 10 and he was nothing but a pudgy question mark. This Bryant kid is a 2 yr collegiate with a damn 3 pt shot and he runs his arse off. Thank God for the new-NBA, I guess. Ten or 15 yrs ago, he would've been a lottery pick. Kuzma as well at 27. The hell is that about? I saw his highlight reel at Utah and literally laughing at that kinda skill dropping below where they took Brian Cook in 2003. Wow. So how'd you guys do? You like Fox, I hear. Is it because you liked Rick Fox so much, what?

Jesus dude, go for a walk, have a beer or two, see what else is on TV. Summer League isn't worth getting this bent out of shape about.

Your boy Lonzo is out tonight because Magic doesn't want him exposed and embarrassed like Fox exposed and embarrassed him when dropped 39 points when whole basketball world was watching! Magic has fragile ego as a new GM who had his half-baked dim-witted plan to add Paul George collapse. He is feeling vulnerable over his attempt to restore the franchise no one wants to play for anymore to former glory. Magic wants to protect his "prized asset" before exposed as Ricky Rubio Lite. Comparing Lonzo to White Chocolate is an insult to White Chocolate. If J-Will is White Chocolate, Lonzo Ball is the crusty Hershey's Bar stuck between your car cushions from two winters ago. Lonzo has NO juke moves to breakdown his defender. J-Will had more than you can count! J-Will had a lethal stop on a dime jumper. Lonzo doesn't stop on a dime. He trips over it. Lonzo passes the ball before the defense even challenges him? What is that? No one is impressed. At least no one who has been watching the NBA with any degree of insight. What about forcing the defense to collapse and tilting the floor to gain an edge for your teammates? J-Will put fear into defense with his unpredictability and tenacity. J-Will was nonstop excitement and fearlessness and execution on the court. Lonzo is dreadfully boring by comparison. He passes too much before teammates are in an advantageous position. Overpassing is symptom of having an incomplete and deficient offensive skill set. Just as there is the problem of selfishness there is the problem of selflessness as mask for an inability to make yourself a genuine scoring threat. I can go on and on but that end's the lesson on Basketball 101 for now.

Take a step back and realize... Summer League.

Ray McCallum won a SL title. We probably won 22 games the next season.
