A Team I want to love

#1
I have been a Kings fan since the first season here in Sacramento. I have had season tickets in the past and now I watch every game on TV. I read this board at least 10 times a day and I follow just about everyone on Twitter, When news breaks I get alerts. I am a huge Kings fan.

That being said, the last few years I realized that instead of pleasure I was getting frustrated at this team. I know it wasn't about the losses as a Kings fan I am used to that. I lived and died throughout the entire Maloof process of moving the team. I realized that while there were certain players I enjoyed, I just was not totally bought in, I would have argued with anyone about not trading Cousins as he was so good, And Rudy Gay although frustrating with that high dribble was a very nice guy and how could you not root for Ben or Omri But something was amiss, maybe it was all the complaining, maybe it was that I thought i could have run the team better or coached the team better. I just knew something was wrong or my love for the Kings was dying

When Cousins got traded my eyes opened, I was happy and excited again to see the kids play, I mean I wasn't kidding myself about the team but once again wins and losses didn't matter. I just wanted to watch Kings basketball. I even started posting on this board instead of just reading the posts. Then came the draft, What a win, The free agency, Boom another win, The front office, doing great, I have total faith in them now, Our coach is awesome.

I am so frigging excited to watch our kids grow and to watch and cheer for this team and for Sacramento. Those of you who criticize each and every move while it is your right as fans. Stop and think about it. Enjoy the ride. If you were not around for the last turn around of this team let me tell you it is so exciting and awesome. I feel it changing, Who knows how far we can go in the next few years. But it is a great time to be a Kings fan.

Summer league starts tonight and I know exactly what I will be doing tonight at 7:30 pm espn2

I will never understand viewpoints, that are mainly based on emotions and the hope for the best possible outcome. ;)

But I'm looking forward to watching my Kings in SL too. The game starts at 1 AM in Hamburg and I know I will be up all night, to get a first glimpse at our rookies and sophomores.

Isnt it 4:30 am in Germany? With games in Las Vegas / California I usually add +9 hours
