You're misinterpreting. Nobody believes you meant that. I simply said that you are drastically overstating how often traveling occurs. It does happen a lot, no doubt. Much more than it did in the NBA 25, 30 years ago. But LeBron does not travel 3 out of 4 times. Pure and simple. That was the point. And if you're going to cite a player as the poster child of traveling, it wouldn't start with LeBron. More like James Harden, Russell Westbrook or Steph Curry.

I totally forgot Bojan is going to be a FA as well. I think they would love to play together and it would be a dream scenario for me. Maybe it would have been a problem twenty years ago to play a Serb and a Croatian in the same team, but not anymore. Divac knows that better than me as this touched him personally. Anyway I don't wanna turn this into political.

Like Hansel said. Serbia and Croatia are in bad relationship, political, but it doesn't matter to players a lot. I know that Bogdan i Bojan are good friends and they would like to play together. Bojan is a good player, but too inconsistent for my taste. There aren't many things he can do beside outside shooting. But great shooter though....
I think as NBA fans, we see Bogdanovic deciding not to come over as a sign of him "not proving himself at a higher basketball level". He won the Euro league and Turkish league. What else does he left to prove in Europe? Its like a young MLS star refusing to go to the PL or La Liga. It's pretty obvious that the biggest reason is because they like where they're at, and could fail at a higher level of competition. I hope Bogs isn't scared of that.
I can guarantee you that Bogdan is not scared. Anyone interpreting these player's decision as "being scared" or some such is just not dealing with reality. There are a LOT of other factors that come into these decisions. Being scared or some other similar view does not even register.
For the recrd, I think Bogdan will play for the Kings next season. He has always wanted to play in the NBA and he has always been a driven kid wanting success and playing well in the clutch. He always loved a challenge and I am sure that has not changed. He will play for the National Team and then go on from there. No summer league!
One thing I have to warn Kings fans about is that Bogdan is a MASSIVE Kobe Bryant fan. His favourite player of all time.

There's A LOT more to it than that. Moving across the world away from most of your family and friends just isn't something most people can just do at the drop of a hat. I'm not sure if he knows English or not (never heard him talk), but even if he does, it's still mightily intimidating. At least it would be to me.
Of course I have no idea if any of these things are affecting him or not, but it's not fair to expect anybody to just be cool with moving across the world when it's possibly one of the biggest life decisions he will ever have to make.

It seems premature to pidgeonhole Bogdan as Hield's backup. The guy has proven himself to be arguably the best player in Europe. I think he will be given a fair shot to start at shooting guard. Given his size and passing abilities he maybe a better fit starting. Hield providing instant offense off the bench is a good fit for the team. They can play together in three guard lineups. So much versatility with Bogdan, although I would caution those who are thinking he plays SF. That can only work against small ball lineups. He likely will not be able to check full sized 3's or really fast players.
Free agency is underway in less than a week so we'll know pretty soon. I imagine Bogdan will be our first signing. Napear, Ham, and Charmichael Dave have only spoken about it as pretty much a done deal, and they are in with Vlade so I think hes coming and they are just waiting for free agency to officially begin to make an announcement.

I've been watching some of Bogdans games in Turkey and I see him as possibly being more of a natural play making SF honestly. One thing they also did a lot as well was switch screens where Bogdan guarded PF's and even some C's in the post. The results weren't fantastic but he didn't get steam rolled physically and I think with better team defense and digging down on the post up guy, in particular with Fox and his insanely quick hands, you could get away with it sometimes. The game is more physical over there and almost every screen I've seen is illegal so I think he'll find the NBA game more to his liking on both ends.
