Celtics and 76ers deal

With information like Stephen A Smith and others are putting out I'm wondering just how valuable our # 5 and 10 picks truly are. If Jimmy Butler can be had for a pick two spots above where the Kings sit now, what kind of package could we get back for 5 and 10?

Before this trade went down I was completely against trading the picks. Yet, knowing that an All-Star like Jimmy Butler can be had relatively easily, I'm open to the trade now.

As much as I want a player like Fox, he is completely unproven. Jimmy Butler is a fantastic two-way player, All Star, and potential all NBA player. I've always believed that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
Well, you'll probably find this report interesting.

During David Griffin's final hours as general manager of the Cleveland Cavaliers, he found a team in the lottery willing to trade for Kevin Love in exchange for their lottery pick.

Griffin was shopping that lottery pick in hopes of trading for either Jimmy Butler or Paul George.

According to sources, that team was the Phoenix Suns at No. 4.

At that point we would have Jimmy Butler and nothing else. We would still be a lottery team. I think it's best to commit to this rebuild and hope that by the time we are on the rise the Warriors are at the tail end of their dynasty. We are losing our pick in 2019 which sucks but we have had how many lotto picks now? 1 pick will not break this franchise. There is no Lebron in 2019.

Kevin Love doesn't make any sense for Phoenix since they are in a bigger youth movement than us and Love is 29 years old. They also just traded 3 picks last year to move up and draft Chriss last year.

I think it is a smoke screen rumor, makes no sense.

To be fair, when has the Phoenix Suns front office done anything that's made any sense over the past five years? Their big plan two offseasons ago was to sign Lamarcus Aldridge and Tyson Chandler despite the fact that they were clearly in the middle of a rebuilding effort.

Drafting Devin Booker was pretty good.

This move only provides more possibilities for the Kings. I thought Jackson was off the table but I think he might be in play again. I also think it increases the chance that Fox is there who I really like as well.
