Did Bogdan play well at PG?
Solid. Strangely, he had 0 assists (his average is about 3-4 assists which is great in Europe, especially for someone his size and position), but didn't make any turnovers and distributed the ball solid. Overrall, his pick and roll decisions are improved , and yesterday, he was making decisions to shoot and attack the basket.

btw. In last few weeks, some of his teammates (Datome, Kalinic) raised their forms and now there are so many options in offense, so Bogdan doesn't have a ball much in his hands (no isolation), but he fit great in that teamwork style of basketball.

Sacramento, we have a problem. Potential problem...

Official Euroleague sponsor "Dogus" became main sponsor of Fenerbahce, willing to invest a lot of money in the club, which means they will be able to offer Bogdan much better contract then before. Still can't offer as much as Sacramento can, but....

Still hoping that doesn't mean anything to him :D

Thanks once again for the update......it means his initial contract in the NBA went up, if he chooses to come here.

The way I see it, if Bogdanovic wants to really compete at the highest level and test his skills against the best players in the world, he'll come to the NBA. And if he doesn't, and would rather take similar money to stay with Fenerbahce then he's not the competitor I thought he was and is probably better off not coming over.

Exactly. If he wants to stay in a league where the reining MVP is Ekpe Udoh then that's his business and so be it. I'm not getting into any bidding war either. Come play and earn your keep rook.

3-0 for Fenerbahce, greaaat game ending for Bogdan! First he made a 3pt 4 seconds before the end to send a game to overtime. Then in overtime, scored 6 clutch points (2 midrange shots, 1 flouter) . I think he had 24 points, but i don't have stats with me. Game 4 is for 2 days, i hope it will be all over then :D
I love hearing that he has the "clutch gene" and is able to be productive in important moments. That is something I'm not sure if any of the young Kings players have yet. Come over Bogdan!

No crowd? Something happened in previous matches I guess.

Bad defensive mistake by the player who didn't switch on the screen, but I love to see how the coach is disappointed as soon as Bogdan received the ball, before even attempting the shot. Like... I know what's going to happen now. And he's ready to call time out even before the basket. Like... He's not going to miss that.

While Bogdan should be applauded for draining that three, the other team couldn't have defended that play worse if they tried. I mean, first off, no one bothered covering the inbounder which should in theory free someone up to double team someone. In this case, however, the other team somehow left Jan Vesely wiiiiiide open, which is technically fine because even though has a clear path to the basket, you're up three with one possession left. Except all the defenders decide to collapse in on the guy, leaving Bogdan wide open for some reason. And then, instead of recovering, the defender just sorta runs into Udoh's half-hearted screen and stops trying to pressure the shot. Who the hell designed that defensive scheme? George Karl?

On the plus side, Bogdan definitely showed NBA range on that shot and it definitely doesn't hurt to have guys willing to take and make big shots. (Bogdan and Buddy on final possessions could be a deadly combination). Just get the guy over onto our roster already.

Last week on the radio, Grant said that Vlade has to know by now whether Bogdan is coming over or not. I don't know if he was just talking or if he had heard something. I'm curious to know if he's really waiting until the final game is over to let us know or if that's to just let the public know. Would save Vlade and the front office a lot of work on their draft board if they already had word from him.

I wonder if they'll announce it on draft night.

BTW can teams start trading now?

I was thinking the same thing. Was it closed off to the public?
Two minutes before the end of the game, the fans started throwing things at referees, so the break lasted at least half an hour while they emptied the stands. Unfortunately, just one "normal" situation in countries like Turkey, Greece, Serbia....

By the way - Bogdan had another 3pt attempt (12 seconds before the end) to tie a game, and he missed. But his self confidence is obviously very large :D Luckily, defense was awful there....

Tomorrow , at 7pm, European time. Their opponent, Besiktas is very pleasant surprise in this Play-offs, but since i think their fans are banned for tomorrow, i expect that Fenerbahce will win tomorrow and i really hope they will end this season and all this drama about Bogdan's future. Especially we (in Serbia) are excited to see what will Bogdan and Teodosić decide. Whole nation wants to see some new Vlade and Peja in the NBA, maybe in the same team again :D

In general, Bogdan was very constant in this Turkish League Play-offs. Nothing special, but he ended most games with 15+ points with respectable number of assists. And he had great last game, especially in clutch moments. Their priority was Euroleague Play-offs, and that is where Bogdan showed the most, especially in top 8 against PAO.
