His first MVP of the Month award... Averaging 18,3 points, 6,5 rebounds, 3,8 assists and 1,8 steals during April.
If Bogdanovic ends up coming over this year, I'll feel bad for Turkish and Euro fans. Would lose out on a very very talented player in Bogdanovic. How do fans feel knowing that there's a good chance he heads over to the Kings next season? Will some of them follow his career? Also curious, how big of a star is Bogdanovic in Serbia and overseas? Has he surpassed Teodosic yet?

Judging from the following that Vlade and Peja had, I'm pretty sure that he'll have a solid fan base. I think we can help by signing Bojan away from the Wiz this summer to play SF for us. Plus, it would drive the announcers nuts.

If Rudy opts out, I would not be surprised if Vlade tries to sign Bojan to play SF for us.

In fact, I think there is a very good chance Vlade goes hard after Bojan, with the Wiz needing to spend to re-sign Otto Porter. ;)

Unless..... the Kings try to sign away Otto Porter themselves with a max deal! ;)

Exactly :D he will wait as much as he can, and i think that his dilemma is similar to Miloš Teodosić's decision. I think that he won't come to NBA if he won't play at least 20 minutes.
It would be pretty exciting if Bogdan AND Milos were signed by the Kings. Silver medal Back court duo:)

If Rudy opts out Vlade could offer BOTH Otto and Bojan deals:eek:

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if that is a scenario Vlade is looking at. If Milos wants to come to the NBA, I think he won't find another place that can offer him what we can offer: A good chunk of money and a chance to start for the next 1-2 years while a rookie is developing behind him. Which other team will offer him a starting position? Of course the downside is that we are not a good team, so the question is what does he value more: Starting or winning?

Let me put this simple - if Bogdan comes to Sacramento, Kings will have at least about 2 million new bandwagon fans :D People in Serbia really love basketball, and Kings facebook and twitter fan pages will explode, just like Nuggets pages did, because of Jokic....
I was only 6 years old when Divac and Peja played at their primes, but i know that a lot of Kings games were on national TV station, because of them. And we were watching their games more than news channel :D I have no doubt that it will happen again if Bogdan comes here (especially if Miloš too ). Opinions about Bogdan and Miloš coming to NBA are mixed - some of them think they should stay and become euroleague legends, some of us really hope they will compete with best players in the world because i think they are capable... but one thing is guaranteed - we will follow their games a lot.
And no, he still didnt surpasse Teodosić (even Jokić didn't), but maybe he will, depends on his NBA career...

Anyway.... they won yesterday against Besiktas and clinched first spot before play-offs (Besiktas is 2nd). Bogdan had great all-around game - 12 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals for only 19 minutes (it was a blowout in second half so they didn't need him). Had 2 great backdoor passes, flouter, some fastbreak points, 2 threes, cut two passes, active on defense.... And few things i noticed about Bogdan games this year, are his improvement in strenght and explosiveness. He setted few screens and the opponent ended on the ground - so wasn't sure if Shaq or tiny european boy. He is stronger and quicker with the ball, especially when playing pick and roll...

Looking at more and more of Bogdan's tape, I feel like the Manu Ginobli comparison is good but I started to get more of a Brandon Roy feel from Bogdan. Good athlete despite not being "explosive", good shooter but not "lights out", solid defender but not "lock down", and yet the sum of the parts is more than they'd probably be individually. I'm becoming more and more convinced the dude's going to be a really really good NBA player for the Kings if Vlade can get him over.

Great comparison.

I really don't have an idea of his ideal comparasion player. Anyway, i like Brandon Roy comparasion, they both can score in so many ways, able to create their own shoots, but Bogdan is less explosive, not that good with crossover. However, their cold blooded characters are similar...
Comparing Bogdan and Manu is good too, but just like "Bogdan-Roy situation" - Bogdan is less explosive if looking at Manu's younger days, don't have vertical leap like Manu, but i think Bogdan is better shooter, mostly because of his jumpshoot mechanic which makes him able to create good midrange shoots.

Sometimes he reminds me of Batum. Batum has sometimes "slow legs" too, but he is heigher than Bogdan, so i really hope a little lack of explosivness won't hurt Bogdans NBA career much. However, i definetely see progress in his quickness, especially first step and i really hope he will continue to develop that segment.
